As they looked on, Rainbow Dash looked at Rainbow Blitz, and said "Oh, Rainbow Blitz! I'm afraid it'll soon be over for us." "I-I hadn't planned it to end like this, Rainbow Dash." Rainbow Blitz said. "Oh, I wish I'd stayed a frog!" Cranky Doodle said sadly. At the balcony of the castle, King Sombra and Snips watched the windigos walking on the drawbridge as King Sombra said "Only moments away from my victory! My greatest triumph!" "We did it, sire! We did it!" Snips said. King Sombra shot a glare at him as he gulped, and said "I-I mean you! Yes, yes! Of course! You did it, sire!" On the other side, Winona was climbing up a flight of stairs as the white mist passed by. She reached the top, and opened the door. She heard a thunderous neigh as the windigos appeared, and she fell down the stairs. She recovered, and ran for her life as she said "Yikes!" She stopped at the window looking into another room, and she struggled to catch her breath. Near the window Rainbow Blitz, Rainbow Dash, and Cranky Doodle Donkey heard her as Rainbow Blitz looked up at her, and said "Winona? Winona, is that you?"

Winona looked at Rainbow Blitz as she said "Master!" "Winona!" Rainbow Blitz said. "What are you doing here?" "Winona sorry she always runs away when there's trouble." She squeezed her way through the window, and jumped down to her friends as she said "She will untie everypony and creature. Then, we will leave this evil place!" "Well, get on with it!" Cranky Doodle said as Winona untied him, Rainbow Blitz, and Rainbow Dash. Once they were freed, Rainbow Blitz looked at Winona, and said "Good girl, Winona!" He looked at Rainbow Dash as he said "Rainbow Dash, you go with Cranky Doodle Donkey and Winona. I must stop the cauldron." As he flew to the cliff overlooking the black cauldron, Rainbow Dash said "Oh, but Rainbow Blitz, that's impossible! Why, you'd be-!" She stopped talking when he was about to dive in as she and Winona gasped. "Rainbow Blitz!" Rainbow Dash said. "I'm sorry, Rainbow Dash." Rainbow Blitz said. "Please, Rainbow Blitz!" Rainbow Dash said sobbing. "NO! You can't!!" "My mind is made up!" Rainbow Blitz said. He prepared to dive in, but Winona quickly stood in his way as she said "Wait, master! Winona not let you fly into cauldron!" "Winona get out of my way!" Rainbow Blitz said as Winona stepped back. She stepped foward when some of the cobblestones fell as she said "Whoa!" She looked at Rainbow Blitz as she said "Please, master! Not go into evil cauldron!"

"If I don't, we're all lost!" Rainbow Blitz said. "Out of my way!" In tears, Winona hugged Rainbow Blitz as she said "No! Winona not let her friend die!" As she walked towards the edge, she said "Winona has many friends." She sniffed as she said "Winona has no friends." Rainbow Blitz gasped as he said "Winona, no! Don't jump!" Winona then jumped as he said "Wait! Don't! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" She landed in the cauldron, and it exploded as Rainbow Blitz groaned in despair, and said "Oh, no!" Then, the cauldron started sucking up the white mist back inside, and the windigos started turning back into pony skeletons, and as they crumbled away, the ice trail they left behind melted. Snips gasped as he said "Sire! Sire, look! Something's wrong! What is it, sire! They're-They're dying!" "It can't be!" King Sombra said. He grabbed Snips with his magic as he said "This had better not be your fault!" "It needs another body, sire!" Snips said. "Yes. Yours!" King Sombra said as they left the balcony.
