Chapter 9

Just then, Rainbow Blitz and Rainbow Dash heard Cranky Doodle Donkey screaming as he said "Great Celestia!" "Cranky Doodle!" Rainbow Blitz said as he rushed to help his friend. He ran over to Cranky Doodle Donkey, only to find that Winona had jumped on him, and crawled all over him as he said "Help! Murder! Hurry!" Winona picked up Cranky Doodle Donkey's red hat as she said "Ha, ha! Winona's lucky day! Wow!" "Yes! Keep it! It's a gift!" Cranky Doodle said. Winona then picked up his harp as she said "Oh, this! Winona want this!" "Take it!" Cranky Doodle said. "I'm sure you've murdered for less! Ugh!" Winona tried to pull the harp away, but the string was caught in Cranky Doodle Donkey's neck, choking him in the process. As she gave one last tug, Rainbow Blitz drew his sword out, put it back, and said "Winona!" Winona gasped as she let go of the harp, and said "Master! Uh, uh, old donkey...fall down!" She looked at Cranky Doodle Donkey as she said "Get up, get up!" Cranky Doodle Donkey moved away from Winona as he brushed his harp, and said "Well! Really!" He looked at Rainbow Blitz as he said "Who is your pungent friend?" "She's no friend of mine!" Rainbow Blitz said. "She's a coward, and a thief."

Winona took off the hat, and gave it back to Cranky Doodle Donkey as she said "Humph! Too big anyway." Just then, Rainbow Dash arrived on the scene as Winona fixed herself up for her. The princess smiled as she said "You're charming." "And pungent too!" Winona said. Rainbow Dash giggled as Rainbow Blitz said "Well, what are you waiting for?" "Yes. Yes, exactly!" Cranky Doodle said. "Toodle off, toodle off!" Winona got mad as she said "Humph! Winona go!" She started to walk away, but she spotted Rainbow Dash's hoofprints as she said "Tracks? Tracks! Winona remembers! Saw dragon's tracks!" "You did?" Rainbow Blitz asked. Winona nodded, and said "Today!" "Today?" Rainbow Blitz asked. "Wait a minute!" "You'll try anything!" Cranky Doodle said. Rainbow Dash got mad as she said "Oh, you're both horrid! She just might know!" Winona nodded as she pulled on Rainbow Dash's tail, and said "Pretty pony come too?" "Well, I-!" Rainbow Dash tried to say, but Winona interrupted her as she said "Yes! Yes! Yes! Follow Winona! Follow Winona!"

"You'd better be telling the truth!" Rainbow Blitz said. "Winona not lie." Winona said. "Not this time." As she started to walk off, Rainbow Blitz, Rainbow Dash, and Cranky Doodle Donkey followed her closely. A few moments later, they arrived at a small pond, and Winona proudly showed Rainbow Blitz Spike's tracks as she said "See, master? Dragon's footsteps! No lie!" "Oh, good." Rainbow Blitz said. "They look fresh." Winona then set out across the small stepping stones. When she stopped in the middle of the pond, all of the stepping stones disappeared, except for the one she was standing on, and it began to spin around, and sink into the water, turning it into a whirlpool, and sucking her in. She began to panic as she said "Oh, master! Master!" "Winona!" Rainbow Blitz said as he tried to save Winona, but got sucked into the whirlpool instead. Cranky Doodle Donkey grabbed onto Rainbow Dash's tail as she reached her hoof out, and said "Oh, Rainbow Blitz! Give me your hoof!" As Rainbow Blitz grabbed onto Rainbow Dash's hoof, Cranky Doodle Donkey said "We're doomed!" He and Rainbow Dash fell in as they screamed, and got sucked into the depths below. Then, the whirlpool settled down, leaving Rainbow Blitz, Rainbow Dash, Winona, and Cranky Doodle Donkey on a floor of an underground realm, and they fell asleep from exhaustion.
