I woke up at around 9 i noticed Diego's hand was on my stomach I sat his hand aside I got my phone and got a text message

Mom: hey Lexie, I know it's been a while since we talked and I don't know if your still in town but want to get coffee later and talk?

I read the message I was about to start tearing up
Me and my mom have never got along and one day I just snapped and left the state.

                 Messages
Me: sorry I would but I left Washington. I'm sorry I just snapped.

I noticed Diego opened his eyes and was looking at me
"What's wrong" he says looking at me having my hand over my face
"It's my mom" I say
"W- what happened" he says
I told him that she wanted to meet up with me.
Diego hugged me after
I was just crying on his shoulder
"I'm so scared of her she abused me at a young age"
I said crying over his shoulder
"It's okay your safe with me your okay" he say rubbing my back trying to calm me down.

"I'm not safe."
