Have you ever been on tour?

"Hello?"

"Emma hi it's lottie! I'm so sorry I got lost but I'm okay.. I'm fine! I'll get home on my own don't worry!" I blurted out down the phone

"Woah chill out it's cool.. I figured.. I was going to ring you but your phone died. I knew you'd be alright. I just told my mum you got the bus home so she wouldn't freak out"

Another reason why I love Emma she never freaks out. She somehow knew I was fine. I don't know how she was so chilled out I would have been having a panic attack.

"Thanks Emma. Love you lots see you on Monday."

I hung up and handed the phone back to mike he smiled at me before putting it in his jeans pocket.

It was just us two on the sofa all the others had continued watching some tv show. I had no idea what it was I don't really watch a lot of TV.. I hide in my bedroom most nights to stay away from my mum.

"So where do you live? shouldn't you be getting home?" mike was staring at me again.

"Only 5 minutes away. Ha it doesn't matter my mum wouldn't really care if I was home or not."

He looked at me with sad eyes almost like he was upset.

"What's wrong?" I asked him I was really worried

"Nothing.. Well I just think it's sad that you don't get along with your mum."

"Well I don't really mind. I've learnt to deal with it. She hits me sometimes but it's easier to pretend not to care. So I've taught myself not to.. When I was little I use to cry all the time. My dad tried to help but then she would just shout at him.. I don't know why I'm telling you this.. You probably don't care." I awkwardly laughed trying to lighten the mood.

It went silent it felt like forever

"Do you want to go home?" He said it so softly that my heart melted.

"Not really but I can't stay here forever. Can I?"

I awkwardly laughed again trying to keep the subject light. I don't really like having deep conversations.
