Once all of the boys showed up, Nash introduced me to each one. I was never good with boys, and I will never be, so I'm pretty sure that they all saw me as a awkward, short girl who was obsessed with mythical creatures. But that's okay, because one day I will find a boy that is okay with my insane personality and we will live happily ever after.
All of us were circled around the living room chatting about random stuff. I was talking to Carter and Matthew and occasionally had to, pull Katie away from Taylor because she kept trying to sit in his lap.
"Its fine." Taylor says pulling Katie up onto his lap smiling, "She is just too cute."
I rolled my eyes and mouthed a 'thank you'. I looked at Matthew, "So, how long have you known Nash and Cameron?"
"As long as I can remember." Matthew says looking at the ceiling longingly, "I know all of their secrets and they know all of mine."
"Secrets?" I ask, "Bad secrets?"
"Can't tell you, its a secret..." Matthew laughs and I shove him.
"Have they told you yet?" Carter asks.
"Told me what?" I ask.
Carter looks at Matthew then back at me, "Nevermind."
"I'm going to go get something real quick..." I say trying to find a way to get out of there. The smallest things can give me headaches, like confusion.
I open Nash's door, not realizing I went into his room until I saw the red covers and the red walls. I layed down on his bed and switched on the TV. Relaxing for a bit. An tiny orange bottle filled with pills caught my eyes. I assumed they were pain killers for my head so I got a couple. I was about to swallow them when I felt someone grab my hand and take the pills.
"What are you doing?" Nash asks yelling at me.
"I thought they were pain killers..." I Tell him standing up quickly.
"Never, swallow these. They are not pain killers." Nash says sternly.
"What are they?" I ask picking up the bottle but he smacks it out of my hand.
"That is none of you bussiness." He tells me shoving his finger in my face.
"Okay, okay dang." I say backing up and run out the room.
I went back into the main room, more confused then upset. What was his problem? Why did he freak out like that? I went to the sink and got a glass of water angrily. He snapped at me this morning at the store, and then now. He must have something going on. And I need to find out.
"Are you okay?" Taylor asks from the living room.
"I'm fine," I say clenching my glass, "Just stressed. This whole moving and adapting thing has gotten a little crazy.
"Well, is there anyway I could help?" He asks.
"No, but thanks." I say quickly trying to end the conversation.
I rest my hand of my head and leaned back on the counter. I look to te side for something to eat, like a jar of peanut butter or something, but instead I see a note. It was folded and half and hidden behind the knifes. I grabbed it and slipped it into my pocket before sliding out onto the balcony. The rain was still pouring down, but I didn't mind.
I opened it cautiously...
It says:
Don't forget to meet behind the trees toward the mid beach tomarrow morning around 8:00am. Its important.
-Nash
Okay, I'll see you there.
-Cameron
