I snuck out of my bedroom door, softly shutting it behind me. I tried not to wake up Katie who is a very light sleeper, which was a slow process. I tip toed into the living room and looked out the balcony window. Nash and Cameron were walking down the beach. Perfect.
I exited the apartment and onto the beach trying to stay quiet.
The soft sand beneith my feet as I walked down the shore, calmed me. I don't know exactly where mid-beach is, but I think I'll get closest to the point. As I kept walking a saw a wooded area come into view I jogged softly into the woods and tried not to let them hear me.
I entered into the dark woods, trying to keep the leaves from crunching under me. I snuck around the trees, getting frightened by many different sounds. I kept hearing voices far in the distance and followed the sound.
I finally spotted Nash and Cameron. Nash's face was bright red in anger and Cameron was trying to calm him down. Ive never seen Nash's eyes so... evil, before.
"You need to control yourself. With all of the deaths happening around here, people are starting to get suspicious!" Cameron tells Nash.
Deaths?
"I'm freaking hungry, Cameron. My whole body is shaking. I feel like if I keep it in any longer I'm going to unleash... on her. And if my monster is unleashed, there is no taming it. You understand that?" Nash whispered harshly.
"We have tons of blood in the ice cream container. You know that right?" Cameron tells him getting worried, "Bags, of blood."
Hungry, blood, monster? This sounds extremly familiar...
"It's not the same! Its not fresh." Nash says running a hand through his hair angrily.
"Well your going to have to-"
Just then I tripped on a rock, sticking out of the ground. I land with a thump onto the floor and hoped that they didn't hear me. I looked up and both of them were staring at me dead in the eye. Nash's face was still in flames, but his eyes were... red?
I got up and sprinted back into the apartment. My head was spinning and I felt extremly dizzy. What was that?
I opened the apartment door and ran to my room, locking it. Not a couple minutes later, I hear banging on the door. Hard banging. The door was starting to come off its hinges. I screamed and used all of my force to keep it closed but it wasn't enough. The door opened with such force that I literally flew across the floor, slamming into my desk.
I crawled under it and got into cradling position crying. Nash stared at me with sympathy and Cameron was behind him with the same look.
Nash reached his hand out toward me, "Rylan-"
"Don't touch me!" I screamed pressing my back against the wall.
"We are either going to have to do this the easy way or the hard way." Cameron tells me.
"What the hell does that mean?!" I ask moving back farther, "I'm not moving from this spot."
Nash reaches under the desk and grabs my foot pulling me out while I kick and scratch terrified. I hold into the desk legs but Nash grabs my arms. I scream and try to wiggle out of their grasp. They put me onto the bed and Nash sits down behind me wrapping his arms around my waist holding me back to where I was basically sitting on his lap. His grasp was hard my wrist also.
"Rylan, if you try to make another move, I will snap your wrist in half." He threatens me making me stop.
"Listen Rylan. I have no idea how you found us, but since you did, you heard too much." Cameron says, "We have to tell you now."
Tears rolled down my face as Nash hot breath brushed against my neck causing me to shiver in fear. Please don't let them be-
