Shopping Day!

(Emma POV:)
I got up early and put on some black leggings with a black sweater crop top with my pink fussy sandles. With my blonde hair down. I walked down stairs to see my mom and brother in the kitchen
Mom: good morning honey u ready
Me: ya
Mom: here I made u your yogurt in a jar with fruits In it
Me: thanks mom
Mom: ya no problem
Me: so Mike where are u going today
Mike: well I need to go to practice for the big game
Me: right i fergot
Then I got a text from Cora saying she was outside waiting already.
Me: mom she's here
Mom: ok let me get my bag
Me: bye Mike see u later
Mike: ok bye
Mom: ok Mike please be careful
Mike: I will ok
Mom went up to Mike and kissed him on the forehead and we both walked out of the house and into the car.
Mia: hey u guys ready
Mom: yes let's go
Cora: wait wait wait
Me: what
Cora: we can't go not unless this one over here gets her drink at Dutch Bros
Me: that's right
Mom: ok let's go then
We drove to Dutch Bros and I got my Dinosaur Egg rebel cause I need something to wake me up and Cora got the same things and Cora's mom and my mom got just coffee. We then went to a designer dress store. We went in and saw all these kinda of pretty dresses. I saw this black one and red one and tried on so many. Till I tried on this beautiful dress. I walked out to the waiting room and went up to the mirror and my mom saw the dress that I had on.
Mom: oh honey u look so pretty
Me: aww thanks mom
Mom: what do you like it
Me: I love it.
Mom: is that the dress u want
Me: ya this is the dress
Cora: great I found mine too.
Mia: ok guys let's get them and let's go get something to eat.
We ordered the dresses and we went to go eat at red Robbin and I got a salad while everyone else got the famous burgers. We went home cause we took forever to pick our dresses and shoes and stuff like that. We all came to my house and watched movies and stuff like that.
Me: hey guys want popcorn
Mia: yes please
Me: ok come in Cora
We walked into the kitchen and I noticed that Cora wanted to tell me something.
Me: what
Cora: ha
Me: u look worried or is something bothering u
She looked at me and looked down then pulled out her phone and showed me the text.
Me: when did u get it
Cora: last night after I dropped u off
Me: do u thinks it's from Amanda
Cora: who else would it be from
Mike: who else would it be from what
Me: omg Mike u scared me
Mike: sorry
Cora: where were u
Mike: at practice
Cora: oh
Me: did u come from the back door
Mike: ya
Cora: why didn't u come from the front
Mike: well cause I didn't want to walk all the way to the front
Cora: so.what I'm hearing is ur lazy
Mike: so how's the whole Amanda thing going
Cora: oh u haven't told him
Me: no
Cora: well can I
Me: ya
Cora: ok so....
Cora explained to what had happened yesterday after school and practice with Amanda.
Mike: so she k ow that's u know Emma?
Me: ya pretty much
Mike: has she said anything since then
Me: well
Cora pulled out her phone and showed him the text message she got last night.
Mike: well how do u know it's from Amanda when it says private number
Me: who else would it be
Mike: thats true
Me: ya so that's where we're at right now
Mike: so did u guys pick a dress or u going to the store again
Cora: haha very funny
Me: yes we got our dresses
Mike: and what about dates
Me: well u already know mine
Cora: I don't know yet
Me&Mike: right
Cora: hey
Then the popcorn was ready and there was a knock on the door.
Me: I'll get it
I walked up to the door.and opened it and it was Jacob
J: hey em
Me: hey come in
J: so how was prom dress shopping
Me: good
J: did u guys find something
Me: ya we did
J: well that's great
Cora: hey Dad
J: hey sweetheart
Mike: hey
J: oh hey mike where we're u today
Mike: practice
J: oh nice how was it
Mike: good
J: oh well that's great
Mike: ya well if u guys well excuse me I'm going to hop in the shower
He walked upstairs.
Me: I say we watch a movie like how we used to
J: I'm in
Cora: ok what movie
Mom: ur guys choice
I smiled at Cora and she smiled back.
