Leaving For College

(Emma POV:)
It had been 2 months since I graduated and it was time for me to leave for college. It was a beautiful Friday morning and my flight leaves at 4pm so I was doing some last minute packing.
Mom: hey honey
Me: ya
Mom: what are u doing
Me: last minute packing
I noticed my mom standing by the door way and she looked sad.
Me: mom?
Mom: ya
Me: u ok
Mom: well I'm just so sad that ur going off to college
Me: aw mom
I went up to her and hugged her.
Me: u can call me every night ok
Mom: ok honey
Then we heard a knock on the door.
Mom: I'll go get it
She left my room to go get the door. I stayed and packed. Then when I was done I went in the shower and went out and did my hair and makeup. Then put on some black leggings with a Victoria Secret crop top sweatshirt it was aqua with some  gray with the pink logo on it. And to finish it off I put on some knee high heal boots they were grey. And I had my small purse. Then I heard a knock on my bedroom door.
Cora: hey can I come in
Me: yes
She came in and had a gift for me
Cora: u look cute
Me: thanks
Cora: here I got this for u
Me: u didn't have to Cora
Cora: trust me I did. Here.
She handed me the bag and I opened it. It was a photo album. In the beginning of the book it started with pictures when we were in kindergarten when we met for the first time and it goes all the way till now.
Me: omg I love it
Then I grabbed something from behind and hugged her.
Me: thank u
Cora: no problem
Me: here
I gave her a charm bracelet with her name on it
Cora: omg I live it
Me: great cause I have one too
Cora: aww
We hugged.
Cora: well downstairs
Me: why
Cora: just come on
We went down stairs and there was my mom, Jacob, Mia, Mike, Adrian and James. My mom made breakfast for me.
Me: aww guys
Mom: surprise
Me: mom u shouldn't have
Mom: no I had to
Me: thank u guys
Then we digged In and started eating.
Mom: ok before anything else happens I would like to give a tost to Emma
I smiled.
Mom: Emma my beautiful girl u are one of the bravest, positive, girl I know u and this family has been through a lot with ur dad's death and the Amanda problem but u stayed strong. I hope when u leave today u would know that we will always be here for u no matter what ok
Me: thanks mom
The clapped. When breakfast was over I went upstairs and got my things and took then outside into Jacobs car cause they were taking me to the air port with Cora and Mike and Mia. We sat down and talked about good old memories and such till it was time to go. I went by the door and Mom and Ray went up to me.
Mom: take care
Me: thanks mom for everything. I love u
Mom: I live u too. Ur father would be proud of you and ur brother
I smiled and I started tearing up and so did my mom and she hugged me tightly
James: well kid this is the time to start ur life and I hope u the best
Me: thanks Ray
Ray: no problem
We hugged.
Me: and please take care of my mom
Ray: I will. I promise
I walked up to Adrian.
Adrian: I'm going to miss u my love.
Me: me too
He kissed me and we hugged
Adrian: and here
He handed me a gift bag.
Me: aww thanks babe
I opened it and it was a necklace that had a message on it. Which said" No matter where u go I will go. I will always be with u and that's a promise."
I put it on.
Jacob: time to go kiddo
Me: ok
I walked out to the car and we left. When we got to the airport we stopped infront where u get on the plane.
Mia: well this is goodbye for now
Me: bye and thank u guys for being there and everything
Jacob: no problem.
I walked over to mike and gave him a huge hug.
Me: I'm going to miss u
Mike: me too
Me: take car of Cora ok
Mike: I will
Then he handed me something.
Mike: I didn't think u wanted to leave without this
It was a family picture of when dad was alive.
Me: thanks Mike
Mike: I love u Emma
Me: I love u too Mike and thank u for always being there for me
Mike: that's what's family for tight
Then I walked up to Cora.
Cora: I guess this is goodbye
Me: well it's not goodbye forever
We hugged. And started to cry.
Me: I love u Cora
Cora: I live u too
Me: thank u for being my best friend and for always being there for me.
Cora: same goes for u
We hugged tighter.
Me: ok well I should get going
Cora: well bye and good luck with college and never forget me
Me: thanks and I won't
I walked to the entrance and gave   my ticket to the lady and looked at them and waved at them and walked into the plane. I sat in my seat and the plane lifted in the air and I grabbed my laptop and put on music and out on my favorite song "Pretty Girl" and looked out the window.

(Author Note: why I picked this song is because it fits into Emma life so perfectly because she can relate to the lyrics. Because she is a pretty girl that went through shitty things know one should go through. I know for a fact the there's people out there similar to Emma in some way and if u are that person please do it for me and stay strong and don't end up like Amanda (jk... but seriously) know that u always have someone by ur side even if it isn't family)
