A/N: LOL I decided to post two today just cuz...this poem is very different from the other ones (kinda) because it really isn't about love between couples but rather, family relationships. Treasure and love your family despite what you are going through because they will end up being your biggest support! I love y'all!!!

Whenever I see you
I feel like saying thank you.
Whenever I see you
I want to wrap my hands around you.
Whenever I see you
My heart sped faster,
my lips parted,
my fingers locked on your wrist,
hoping you'd never leave me.
But the time always come.
You'd always kiss me "goodbye,"
gently clicking the door shut behind you.
But the time always come,
I see you talking,
Outside,
with men in white robes and women in white hats.
Then the lights dim.
Something beep continuously
Leaving me with only a lone pole
towering next to my bed.
Whenever I see you
I know you love me.
Whenever I see you
I know you're crying.
Your eyes are red,
Your cheeks are wet
and your eyelids only fluttered faster.
Because we both know
that one night
the beeping machine will stop beeping...
Because we both know
that one morning
the pole would be useless...
Because we both know
that one afternoon
you'd be dressed in black
mourning for the loss of your daughter
who laid in the hospital for her entire life
waiting for death.
