I finished my first two periods normally. I was looking forward going to the cafeteria as soon as possible. I was starving and also wanted to be with my friends again.

It seemed like the hours were passing as slow as a snail. When you are in a hurry that always happens. Great.

The bell rang. Lunchtime. Finally.

I went down to the cafeteria and met Angel on my way down. He was a guy that was younger than me even though he looked like a college student. But his height made him look younger at the same time, in fact, he was shorter than me. He had a beard that made him look older. Granted it was hideous beard. However, I always thought he looked funny with it on.

The stairs were crowded with students screaming. I was looking around the stairs to see if I could see Jennifer or Henry but I didn't see them. Neither did I see Daniel nor Alice. I looked back and I saw Angel with an awkward smile on his face. This was the most horrible part of going to the cafeteria. It wasn't finding foods or tables to eat; it was trying to survive in the huge crowd.

Angel and I kept walking downstairs when we had finally gotten into the cafeteria. It was crowded. I looked through the sea of heads fighting over to get in line for that thing they called "food". I was looking through them to see if I could find my friends in that chaos.

Across the cafeteria, I found a big boy with brown hair with a short girl with glasses. It was Jennifer and Henry. I tried to walk through the crowd. Angel was trying to follow me without getting stepped on by the crowd

Jennifer looked up from the table and she waved her hand at us to go there. What was I doing then? I thought in a sarcastic manner in my mind. I turned my head and I saw that Angel was walking nimbly through the crowd.

Finally we reached the table, and we sat in one of those wooden tables with metal chairs that were all over the place. I let out a sigh of relief when we finally arrived. I sat next to Jennifer, who already had her tray with the mysterious cafeteria food.

I gave her a hug and I greeted Henry with a warm smile.

We were all almost on the table; we all had our lunches but Angel and I had brought homemade food. The only ones that were missing in the table were Daniel and Alice. Almost every day we all ate together at lunch.

Then I started thinking, where was Alice? I haven't seen her the entire day. Actually, it has been days without seeing her. What could've happened to her?
