Kai and Tabby were best friends before he moved away to South Korea to pursue his dream to make music. If they reunite will everything be the same for them?

The day that Kai left has been with me everyday. The day after he left I applied to college to become a music manager. If Kai was off following his dreams then so was I. I promised him that I would stay happy and that's what I'm doing.
A few months ago I graduated from college. That day I made the decision to follow my dreams of being a music manager in South Korea. I applied to a job to manage a music group there. I cannot be away from Kai anymore.
I leave for South Korea today and once I get there I will find out who I am managing. I really want to surprise Kai by visiting him when I arrive.
I grab my suitcase and the one bag that I am bringing with me, off my bed. I look around my room just one more time. This is the last time I will be here. Once I'm in South Korea I don't plan on ever coming back. I walk out of my room and down the stairs.
As I reach the bottom I hear movement in the kitchen. I stop and sigh. I was hoping to leave without my parents knowing. I hear footsteps walking my way and my mom emerges from the kitchen. She looks me up and down.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm leaving for South Korea. I'm staying there." With the mention of South Korea, my mom's expression changes to annoyed.
"You're going after that boy, aren't you?" She hisses at me.
"I'm going to pursue my career there." Yeah I'm actually going because of Kai, but she doesn't need to know that.
"Right.. Remember he left you here." I slightly turn my head away and close my eyes. I take a deep breath. She is not worth the fight. I look back at her and smile.
"He never left me." I begin walking towards the door.
"Goodbye mom." I say. She laughs.
"There is no goodbye. You will be crawling back to us soon." I open the front door.
"No I won't." I whisper as I walk outside and close the door behind me.
I walk to the airport taking in all the nice fresh air. I am nervous about this new step in my life, but once I see Kai all that will go away. I smile to myself as I walk. How great will it be to see his smile again.
The airport comes into view and my heart picks up speed. It's time. I'm finally leaving. I speed walk into the airport and do everything that they ask. Once I'm done it is time to board the plane. As I take my seat on the plane I grin.
"Here I come Kai." I whisper to myself. I watch out the window as the plane takes off.
* 14 Hours Later*
I wake up to the voice of the pilot telling us that we were landing. I look out the window and my heart rate spikes. I'm actually here! The plane lands and I just want to hurry and get off. I just want to see Kai. Everyone stands up and we all walk off the plane. I speed walk to collect my things. I spot my suitcase and bag. I grab them and I'm back to speed walking to the front of the airport.
I walk outside and drop my things. I spread my arms out and start spinning around and laughing. I am finally here. It is a bit chilly here compared to home. I stop spinning and grab my bags.
I spot a cab and rush over to it. I open the back door. I plop myself into the back.
"Hi! Could you take me to S.M. Entertainment?" I ask the driver. He looks at me through the rearview mirror and nods his head. I buckle up and grin. I watch out the window as we race towards my new life. This city is beautiful.
It doesn't take us long to arrive at the place where my life is going to change. I give the driver some money and thank him. I step out of the cab and look up at the building. So this is it. This is where I'm going to be working. I smile as I walk up the front stairs. I open the front door and walk in. The receptionist looks up at me with a smile.
"How may I help you?" She politely asks me.
"My name is Tabby. This is where I'm supposed to be working as one of the groups manager." I explain to her. The girl jumps up.
"Oh yes! Welcome! We are so glad to have you with us." I smile at her.
"Let me take you to meet our higher up." She holds her arm out for me to join her. I start walking as she joins me.
"I hope your flight was good." She smiles at me.
"It was thank you." We come to an end of a corridor to some double doors. She opens one and holds it open for me. I walk in and she points over to a man facing away from us. We are standing in a pretty plain room with a hard floor.
"That is our boss. He wanted to meet you and help you with things. Mr. Lee!" She calls over. The man turns around and smiles as he walks over to us.
"You must be Tabby." Mr. Lee offers his hand and I shake it.
"Nice to meet you!" I smile widely at him. He dismisses the girl and I follow him as he walks into the room. He stops walking and turns to me.
"You will be managing one of the sub groups. EXO-K is yours." Mr. Lee says this with a smile. This is so exciting. I grin at him.
"When do I get to meet them?" I ask him.
"They will be practicing here in a few minutes." He tells me. I can't wait to meet the guys I will be spending all my time with. As if on cue, a door across the room opens and six guys walk in. They are all talking to one another and not paying attention to us.
As they come closer my attention is drawn to one of the boys in particular.
"No way." I whisper. My heart picks up speed. Wearing a white button up shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans he looks great as ever. He still hasn't noticed that I was here and I bite my lip. I found Kai.
