Chapter 8

I wake up to coldness where Taehyung is supposed to be. I open my eyes and look around. Tae is gone. I turn over onto my other side. I come face to face with Kai. It startles me and I almost jump away, but I stay still. Kai smiles and chuckles.

"Well good morning." His sleepy voice is, might I say, hot. I finally realize how close we are and my body heats up. My heart starts to pound as our eyes meet.

Kai moves swiftly and before I know it I'm on my back with him hovering over me. Our eyes find each other again.

"What are you doing?" I can barely talk. I am a mixture of nervous and thrilled.

"Just um saying hey." He leans down more. I glance down at his lips. I just want to grab his shirt and bring him all the way down to connect our lips. I look back up at his eyes and clear my throat.

"Where is Taehyung?" I try and ask as calmly I can.

"He's making breakfast." Kai replies. I nod. We really should be getting up. Today is first day of filming.

"Kai let me up." He sighs and falls onto his back. As I get up I hear him groan behind me. I grab come cloths and head into the bathroom.

I take a quick shower and do my morning routine. I head into the kitchen and see Kai at the table, while Tae is at the stove.

"Good morning Tae. Do you mind braiding my hair?" He turns to me and a small smile appears on his face.

"Of course I will." I smile back and look at him for a few seconds. Tae seems fine, but I can see that last night is still breaking him. I sit down at the table and glance at Kai. He is looking at me with a smile on his face.

"Breakfast is served." Tae brings plates over and we thank him. Tae comes and stands behind me, parting my hair to braid. I eat as he braids and when he's finished I thank him. He sits down and eats his food.

I finish and start to get ready to leave for the film site. The boys are both done and ready when I am.

"We all ready?" I ask them both. They both nod. We all walk out the door and wait on the sidewalk for a taxi. I turn my head to Kai.

"Are you ready to film?"

"This will be a fun one." He looks at me with a smirk. A taxi finally comes and we pile in, telling the driver where to go.

I watch as Taehyung looks out the window. I take his hand in mine and rub my thumb over the top of his hand. I feel like he has to go with me everywhere now so I can keep an eye on him. I want everything to be fine. I'm so worried about him.

Our taxi stops and I look around. We are already here. I give our driver money and we all get back out. We are filming the video for The Eve in a very pretty garden place with flowers everywhere. I look around at all the flowers and I smile. This place is beautiful. I see all the boys as we approach the center of the garden. I give them all a smile.

"Good morning." I look at all of them again and realize we are missing one.

"Where is Lay?" I ask the boys. They all look at each other then back at me.

"He will not be joining us." Suho tells me. I nod slowly.

"We got this." I say mostly to myself. The boys agree and they are ready for today's work.

I decided that I wanted to do all their individual filming a day at a time and do the group filming last. The boys can practice their parts if they wanted. It is nice to be out of our practice room for once and be able to get some fresh air.
