Kai and Tabby were best friends before he moved away to South Korea to pursue his dream to make music. If they reunite will everything be the same for them?

EXO's show and signing went so well and it made me proud to be their manager. Watching them perform on that stage and interacting with fans at the signing made me realize just how lucky I am. Being placed with them was the best thing that could have happened. These boys all mean so much to me. They are my family here in South Korea. Including Taehyung, who is always by my side.
Today the boys will be doing a few dance practices. They wanted to do as much practicing they could before they make the music video for it. A girl is coming in to practice her part in the video. Hopefully today goes smoothly.
I walk through the double doors with Tae attached to my arm. All the EXO boys are mingling around the room getting ready for practice. When the doors close behind us the boys all turn their heads. Smiles appear on all their faces and I smile too. Taehyung lets go of my arm when we stop in front of the boys.
"The girl who will be with you guys will be here in a few minutes." I tell them all.
"Her name is Jane." Taehyung looks over at me and I look at him, then at the boys again.
"Jane. Okay welcome her and be nice boys." I grin at them all.
"Oh course Tabby." Sehun says with a smile. There is no need to worry about these guys. I look over when Chen walks up to me.
"This is for you." He hands me some papers. I look down at them and see its more of their schedule. I look back up and smile at him.
"Thank you Chen." He walks back to the group. I turn around and start looking over the schedule for the next couple weeks. It's a busy one. Most of it is the filming of their new music video. Tae looks at the schedule with me.
"So busy." He remarks. I nod my head and smile really big.
"I can't wait." Taehyung smirks at me.
"You found your happiness."
"I sure did." Music for The Eve suddenly starts to play. Tae and I turn around. A girl, who I'm guessing is Jane, is in the middle of the room. Kai walks up to her and they start dancing. Everyone is watching them.
I can see the other members glancing at me as we watch. Kai is moving all over her. It makes me feel sick and I have to look away.
"Why is he acting like this?" I hear Xiumin ask.
"He's been like this ever since Tabby got here." D.O. replies. My heart seems to drop. I look back towards the boys and they quickly look away from me. I glance at Tae and he looks at me. I turn to him and look up at him.
"I have work to do in my office." I lie and start walking away. I turn back around.
"Tell one of the boys to come get me when they are ready to practice." I tell Taehyung. He frowns and nods his head. I walk out the doors and into the hall. I let my breath out that I didn't know I was holding. A lump forms in my throat, but I force it to go away. I'm done crying over him.
I walk into my office and plop down at my desk. I lay my head down on the desk and sigh. Why is Kai being like this? Everyone notices it and it's becoming frustrating. He's being an ass for no reason and at this moment I would like to slap him.
I hear footsteps coming to my office and I lift my head up. Kai comes walking in.
"Why did you leave?"
"I had work to do." I look over at my computer's blank screen.
"Well we are ready to practice." I stand up and look at him. I am feeling all kinds of emotions right now.
"What was that back there?" I ask Kai, my voice coming out angry.
"What do you mean? We were dancing." I roll my eyes and come around to the front of my desk.
"You don't need to be doing that anymore. You need to respect her and the people around you." Kai actually smirks and I have the urge to slap him.
"She liked it." My hand starts to come up and it takes everything in me not to make contact with his face.
"Get out. We are done here." I walk past him and down the hall. I walk into the practice room.
"Get in your positions! Let's start from the top." I tell the boys as I walk in. Kai comes in and walks past me. They all get into their spots for The Eve.
"Let's do it first without Jane." I tell them. The music starts to play and practice has started. I walk around as I watch them. I walk up to Tae and he looks over at me with concern on his face.
"Are you okay?" He asks. I look at the boys and I give him a thumbs up. I find myself watching Kai the most. The way he moves makes my heart flutter and I hate myself for it.
All the boys start rolling their stomachs and hips and my eyes are glued to Kai. Every part of me starts to feel warm as I skim my eyes over him. My body feels alive and I have to force myself to look away from him. Why do I have to be attracted to him. I look at Tae.
"Is it hot in here or just me?" I ask him. Taehyung begins to smirk and he laughs.
"Just you Tabby." I sigh. I have to get myself together. I look back at the boys and see that Kai is looking at me with a small smile on his face.
"Tabby." Tae says my name.
"Yes Tae." I don't take my eyes from watching the boys.
"The next couple days I'm going to be busy with BTS and I won't be home.." Taehyung trails off. I turn around to look at him fully.
"You're leaving me alone?"
"Well not alone." He motions to the boys. I find myself frowning a little. A couple days without my best friend.
"Maybe one of the guys would walk you to work." Tae winks.
"I will be fine. Just be careful okay." I say the last part softly. Tae smiles at me.
"Anything for you." He opens his arms and I walk into them, burying my face into his chest.
