Call Me Baby

Chapter 12

Today is the mini show for Chen, Xiumin, and Baekhyun. They are already at the venue, while the rest of the boys, Taehyung, and myself will meet at S.M. before heading over together.

I'm wearing a simple white shirt with my black skinny jeans and my hair up in a messy bun. I step outside when I hear a knock at our front door. A blast of cold air hits my body and I instantly start shaking. I look over to see Kai watching me with a smirk.

"Who turned on the cold air?" I ask with a frown. Kai walks over to me and wraps his arms around me.

"Come on, let's go ask Tae for a coat." He guides me inside. Taehyung takes one look at me and chuckles.

"I should have told you it was going to get cold."

"Yeah maybe." I mumble. Tae smiles and goes into his room. He comes back out with a coat and he gives it to me. I put it on and Taehyung puts on his own. Kai takes my hand.

"Let's go meet the others." We all walk back outside and the air hits my face again. We start walking toward S.M.

"We're walking?" I ask, kinda hoping we would take a taxi or something.

"Yes."

"Are you trying to kill me?" I ask and both boys chuckle.

"It's only like five minutes." Kai points out. Right.. I forgot we lived really close. I sigh.

It takes us no time to get to S.M., but my face is frozen. We walk inside and head into the practice room. The five other EXO boys are patiently waiting for us. I greet them all with a smile and a wave.

"Good morning, Tabby." Suho greets with a smile. The other four boys smile too.

"Morning," I grin. "When would you all want to leave?" I look around at everyone.

"In a few minutes, but first you have to change." Sehun smiles. I look down at myself.

"You can't wear that." I hear Tae say. I turn around and see Kai holding up an outfit bag.

"It's a special day. You have to wear something nice." Kai winks and hands me the bag. I take it and head towards the back of the practice room, where we have dressing rooms.

I walk in and take off my cloths. I put on a soft pink top with sequins and a white flowy skirt that is above my knees. I walk over to the mirror and see that the top stops in the middle of my stomach, showing some of my middle. I wonder if Kai picked this out. The thought has me smirking. I turn around and pick up my cloths. I walk back out into the practice room.

All the boys are outside waiting for me. They all look as I walk out. I glance at the other boys, but focus on Kai and his reaction. I watch as Kai looks me up and down, then his eyes stop at my exposed middle. The rest of the boys clear their throats and they all walk away. Kai looks up at me and starts walking over to me.

"Did you pick this out?" I ask him. Kai smirks.

"I did. I didn't realize how good it would look on you." Kai says softly. His hands land on my middle and his touch has me gasping quietly. Kai bites his lip and moves closer to me. Our eyes lock as he brings his head down. We both close our eyes and our lips make contact.

Someone clears their throat behind us and both Kai and I smile as we pull away from each other.

"We need to leave."  I hear Tae say behind us. Kai grins at me as he intertwines our hands together. We both smile as we walk towards the guys. When we get up to them they all join us and we all walk out together. Once we get outside, we separate into two groups and get into two cars that are waiting for us.
