"So... I take it you didn't stay at Layla's last night?" Mum teases me walking into the kitchen as I'm making drinks for Craig and Holly...

I laugh rolling my eyes "Oh come on mum- I'm 21yrs old, yes I was with Craig... I was drunk and he took care of me, so what!" I shrug

"Sooooo you never??" She asks hesitantly "You know-" she adds pulling a face

What the fuck? Is she?

I gasp "Muuuuuum!!" I flush in embarrassment "What the fuck?" I hiss as I feel my face flush Scarlett

She holds her hands up in surrender "Okay, I was only asking- I know how hard it been for you over the years since he's been gone and-" she sighs as she sits at the kitchen table "He's back now, has he told you his intentions? Talked at all?" She asks

"No mum, remember-" I point to myself "Pissed as a fart, I was so shocked and overwhelmed last night- was meant to be going to Chris and Catherine's for tea tonight, so we'll talk more then," I tell her

"That boy loves you, any fool can see that" mum smiles at me

"Can you talk to dad for me mum?" I ask her

Seeing Craig back pissed my dad off something fierce, Eva had to talk to him, even though he knew that this was all my doing from the start...

Mum smiles sadly and sighs "Your dad's just being protective babe, you didn't see yourself from our point of view when he first left- it was like some" she hesitates looking towards the living room door and whispers "Some fucked up Bella and Edward thing from that new moon film..." she says "It was scary for us to witness Cat... your dad's just worried about you that's all" she says

"I know he is- but this wasn't Craig's fault, I made that decision" I point to myself "Me!!- and dad took off on him for nothing" I protest

"Babe, your dad is just doing what he does best- being protective, that's what parents do," Mum says

"I love him mum- I've missed him so much, I still can't believe he's here" I admit

"Why? Do you think he's not here to stay?" She asks me

Part of me does...

My hesitation must give her my answer

"I'm staying baby," Craig says from the kitchen doorway "I'm never leaving you again," he tells me as he enters the kitchen and walks towards me

"I'm being silly" I grimace as he wraps his arms around my waist bringing my body flush with his "I guess I won't feel better until I see your signature at the bottom of that contract to know your staying," I say as my cheeks redden

His hands caress my cheeks "You can come with me tomorrow if you like?" He tells me kissing my forehead

"I don't think that's allowed Craig" mum interjects

Craig shrugs "They'll allow it if they want me to sign- my girl needs to know I'm here to stay, I'll do anything to show her that I am," he says as he places a chaste kiss on my lips

And queue the butterflies...

"Can you do that?" I ask him looking into his beautiful eyes

He smiles brightly at me god I've missed that smile...

He looks at his watch "It's still early, let me call Marcus- see if he can pull some strings for me to sign today instead of tomorrow" he says as he gets his phone out kisses me again and walks out the kitchen
