this week daddy & I painted your nursery.
{ well, to be honest he did most of the painting & I decorated the walls after the pain dried. }
the room itself is nothing too wild,
a subtle cool gray color & a shiplapped wall
where we will hang your name once you have one.
it's calm & chic, subtly girly, with just enough pink for the room to pass as a girl's nursery.
I love your room, I really do.

while we were painting your dad & I
made a really BIG decision.
you will only have ONE nursery here in Texas.
that's right, mommy is MOVING IN with daddy.
now, I know you won't ever know any different
but to me? this is a huge deal.

we've been together for almost 2 years now.
currently I spend a lot of time at daddy's house.
but we had never talked about moving in together.
well, we had also never really talked about having
kids together before either, & yet here we are.
so here goes nothing, we're really doing this.
daddy's house is big & us girls are going to be
out-numbered between daddy & the dogs.
so we'll stick together.
here's to life TOGETHER baby girl.
