today you moved into your • big girl • room, well technically it's the same room as you've always had but with the impending addition of baby brother it was time to transform your room from a nursery to a bedroom fit for a big sister.

we just came home from spending our summer on the lake in Toronto a few days ago. while we were up North you also moved into a new bedroom, but bubba will keep your nursery as it's neutrally decorated.
you love the new bunk beds in your room & we've already had a sleepover with your Aunties in your new Canadian digs. I love this room, it's just girly enough but is still rustic for the lakeside cabin.

your mama is a sucker for shiplap, so of course all four walls are painted a crisp white, with a cactus mural behind your vintage wicker daybed. a local artist painted the murals & I am OBSESSED.
