our BIG day was everything I had ever dreamed my wedding day would be. the ceremony site was so incredibly beautiful, the weather was perfect, & our guests were kind, supportive & loving.

Landry & Nixon { our ring bearers } pulled you down to aisle in a beautifully decorated wagon. you were adorable in your little white dress, tossing rose petals out here & there. you also loved your wagon so much that you took a nap in it.

because a lot of my family members live in Vail we spent a few extra days in the city after the wedding, it gave you a chance to get some quality time with your great-grandparents, & allowed me to share some alone time with my HUSBAND.
for the first time you really got to bond with your namesake, your great-Nana Rose. she adores you, y'know? even though she wasn't able to visit us in Dallas you are her first great granddaughter & it means the world to her that you two share a name.
you lived your best life in Colorado, El.
you spent your days eating tons of snacks, being spoiled rotten, and even hit up the Zoo with Landry while your daddy & I tackled the trails for an early morning hike.

on our last day in town daddy & I were able to go hiking alone thanks to Auntie Claire & Uncle Ethan. because they don't get to see you very much so they volunteered to watch you for the day. & you didn't mind one bit.
