I'm Emily Wilison,

Chapter 1

Emily's POV

The girl trying to be just a average girl, sadly I'm not my dad is a senator and my mom a stay at home mom. I am 22 and finishing my law degree at Harvard. All is well but it is not, this is not the life I want to live. I want to live out in the midwest and attend community college, I know there are tons of people that want to live like I do. But money won't buy happiness and love. I wanted to live in a small town and fined my true love and happiness. Live my life with my family and not have to be perfect.

So when I graduated I set out to find my place of happiness and love. I wanted to go to Missouri to visit my aunt Sela. I arrived at the Kansas City Airport on june 6th. I got out the small little plane, and went to pick up my bags. I was really glad to get off that stuffy plane, so many people and such a small plane. I was waiting for my bags to arrive, my first bag was pretty light. My two others where not, I tried and tried to pick up my bag but it was to heavy. I thought to my self when did I pack so much stuff. I finally got them, but when I checked the tags they had the name of Alex Kender, I thought to my self "who is Alex Kender".

Then out of no where I feel the bag taken from my grasp. I turn to see a guy about 6'0 ft holding the bag. But then I lose my balance and fall to the ground. I'm so mad first I am stuffed on to a small plane, then take 10 min trying to get "my bags" only to find out there "Alex Kender's" bags and to top it all off, I fall.

"What else can happen" I mumble to myself.

"Hello, sorry I scared you my name is Alex's you have my bags" he said

He helped me up and said sorry but was still mad at the word scared I wanted to scream my head off, but I was in public.

So I said " Hi my name is Emily, you know its not safe to grab a bag out of some ones hand like that"

"Sorry you are right its was dangerous of me,

but I have your bags" - Alex

"Thanks" I said

But Alex just looked at me so finally I said

"well thank for making me fall,

and taking my bags but I have to go" - Me

"Hey you took my bags too, let me make it up to you. I can show you around town or take you to lunch" - Alex

I kindly said "no" and walked away but by the time I was by the door Alex had ran after me. He insisted that I go to lunch with him and tour the city. So in spite of what happened I accepted. I still did not know the city, so it was a win win. He gave me his number and said he was free on the 7th at noon.

I went to the door and meet with my aunt, I missed her so much I have not seen her for a long time. I got to her house and ate dinner. She wanted to go out shopping but I told her I was too tired.

We talked for hours, then I told her about Alex, her face expression was not good. She told me that he was a player and that I should not get my hopes up. But I could not help it, love was the one thing missing in my life.

So called him to confirm our date. The next morning I got up ate breakfast and went for a run with some old friends.

I got back to my aunts and took a shower, and started on my hair I curled it and did a waterfall braid which only toke 45 mins to do. By the time I was starting my make up it was 10:45. I picked out my outfit pretty easily. A cream colored dress with a coral pink lace wrap.

I was ready by 11:48 so I just sat and waited. I waited till 12:23 then I heard the door bell ring. Went to the door and saw Alex with white roses in his hand.

"Wow you look beautiful" - Alex

"Thank you" I said

Alex looked handsome, but he was late. I asked him where we were eating at.

"We are going to Jack Stack BBQ, its a really good place" - Alex

"Great I love BBQ but do I look a little over dressed" - Me

"Little" - Alex

I decided to go change to something more casual, I wore a blue pastel skater skirt and my black tank top that had lace on the back. I came down where Alex and my aunt Sela were talking they said there goodbyes and we were on our way to Jack Stack.

"wow" - Me

"I know its beautiful, almost as beautiful as you" - Alex

"You seem to have a way with words" - Me

we sat down and a waiter came Alex ordered us some ribs and 2 beers.

The waiter asked if we wanted salad, Alex just looked at me.

"No I'm fine I think we will be carnivores for today" - I said laughing

"A girl that likes to eat what else could I ask for" - Alex

I was not sure what to make of his comment so I just played it off.

We talk about school, work and life. He seamed pretty open and nice, but there was something making me hold back.

"Every thing ok" - Alex

"yea I'm fine, you were right these ribs are amazing" - Me

We talked and ate a lot!

But it was fun, then Alex took me to the plaza, we walk for hours. I stopped at forever 21, when I was looking for cloths I saw Alex talking to this girl. Then out of no where they kiss, I did not know what to do because Alex just kissed her right back. So I walked right past them, I bumped in to him so he would know I saw him and waited on a bench. Alex found me and tried to explain, I just ignored him.

"Don't worry about taking me home, my aunt is on her way, you can go back to kissing your girlfriend." - Me

"No no please Emily don't just let me explain" - Alex

"Bye have a nice life" - Me
