Prom

This one shot is actually probably going to be a two shot and is set a few months after the end of the movie. The Zombies experience prom!

P.S. I don't know how to write zombie for Bonzo so even though I'll be writing in English pretend he's talking in zombie. I'm going to have it to where Bree translates for him, since the two are a couple now, I think she should have learned Zombie by now.

"I'm so excited for tonight!" Bree squeals, in her usual peppy manner. Tonight was prom, and for the first time ever, zombies got to be a part of it. Bree, Eliza and I are currently in my bedroom getting ourselves ready. "Addison are you okay? You've been kinda distracted today." Eliza asks me. "I'm nervous." I confess. "What, why?" Bree cuts in. "There's going to be a lot of pretty girls there. I know Zed doesn't look at them, but they look at him. It doesn't make me worry about our relationship but I just know that I'm not going to be able to compete with their looks." I explain, subconsciously stroking my silver-white hair. It had grown about 6 inches since the cheer championship. "Really? That's what you're worried about? Addison, you would look beautiful in a potato sack, and you know Zed would say the same. Now go put on your dress, and Bree and I will do the same." Eliza orders. "Okay." I agree picking my dress off of my closet door and going to the bathroom.

My dress is a strapless, powder blue organza gown with a sweetheart bust-line that has fake diamonds sewn on. The skirt is made of tulle, with a layer of sheer, silver lace over it. I put on the dress and my silver flats since no one will be able to see my feet. I decided to leave my hair down and curled. The only sort of design I have in my hair is a braided halo that wraps around my head and is held together by a metal and diamond hair clip. I have silver eyeshadow, sparkly black eyeliner, pink blush and pink-nude lipstick for makeup. For jewelry I have on a silver heart locket with a picture of me and Zed inside and a pair of diamond studs.

When I come out, I see Eliza wearing a purple, floor-length, halter-neck gown with a full skirt and a shredded, green hemline. The collar of the halter is decorated with little fake emeralds. It's very zombie chic. Eliza's hair is in an intricate bun. Violet eyeshadow, dark purple eyeliner and maroon lipstick is worn as makeup. A pair of amethyst studs are in Eliza's ears. Since the dress is a halter neck there's no need for a necklace. Bree is wearing a bubble gum pink, princess gown with a layered ruffle skirt. A row of blue sequins create a belt under the bust. Bree's hair is styled in a French twist with a braided crown. On her face, Bree wears baby blue eyeshadow, black eyeliner and pink lipstick. A pair of gold hoops are in her ears and a gold star necklace adorns her neck. "Now remind me why you were nervous?" Eliza asks, leading me to stand in front of my mirror. As I stare at my reflection, I find myself asking the same question. Up until now I've still been secretly self conscious of my hair, but now I feel kinda dumb.
"You know what, I don't remember." I reply with a giggle. "Well that's good." Bree says. "You girls look beautiful by the way." I compliment. "Thanks, you too." Bree replies. "What she said." Eliza agrees. Let's go get our pictures taken, my mom is probably downstairs with her camera ready." I say. "Let's go." Eliza says, and together we make our way downstairs. Once downstairs, my mom insists she gets a shot of us on the staircase. So we stagger ourselves and let her take the picture. Then she takes several pictures of me by myself, and many of the three of us in a variety of poses. Funny faces, smiles, bunny ears and just about any other pose you can think of is photographed. The whole time our pictures are being taken  and each time the camera flashes, the only thing I can think is that, I really can't wait to see Zed.

"Now remember son, the flowers are for Addison's mom, and the corsage is for Addison's wrist. Tell Addison she's beautiful, hold the doors for her, and keep your hands on her waist when you dance. Smile a lot and be a gentleman."
My dad instructs me for what must've been the 100th time. "I know dad. You've been telling me this ever since I told you Addison was my date for prom." I complain. "I know, but I feel like I'm playing both parents here and moms always nag at their sons about manners." My dad explains, brushing an imaginary piece of lint from my tuxedo. My tux is grey, with a blue button up underneath, and a silver bow tie. My shoes are black. "So Zoey what do you think?" I ask my little sister. "Hmm, your missing a little something, come here and bend down." She commands. I do what she says and am surprised when she ruffles my hair. "There, now you look like you." Zoey says. Whatever I was going to say next was cut off by a knock on my door. "I'll get it, it's probably Bonzo and Bucky." I say opening the door. I was right, Bucky is wearing a green tux with a purple bow tie, and Bonzo is wearing a blue suit with a pink bow tie. A lot of change has happened since the cheer championships. But what shocked me the most was when Eliza announced that she and Bucky were dating. I mean we're talking about the guy who used to hate us. But it happened, and now he and I are even friends and he likes coming to Zombie Town.
"Hey guys." I greet. "Hi." Bucky replies.
"Hi Zed." Bonzo greets. "Are you guys ready?" I ask, eager to see Addison and get away from my dad's nagging. "Wait. Before you go, can I get a picture of the three of you?" My dad asks. "Sure dad." I reply. "Great now move a bit closer." My dad orders and we do. After giving big smiles, and hearing the camera snap, we're finally ready to leave. I really can't wait to see Addy.
