Date Night

I should probably re-title this book as ZOMBIES Oneshots and Short Stories considering there are more short stories than oneshots. Oh well...

"So Addison, where are you and Zed going for your date tonight?" Eliza asks me. It's Saturday so she, Bree and I are at my house having a Marvel movie marathon. (AN: I'm super stoked for Avengers Infinity Wars!!!) "We're actually going to a roller skating rink." I reply as I watch Iron Man kick Ivan Vankov's butt. "Isn't that a little kiddish?" Bree asks. "Maybe, but I never learned to skate so Zed is gonna teach me." I reply reaching for the popcorn. "So what are you gonna wear?" Eliza asks. "Dark blue skinny jeans, a red sequined tank and my brown leather half-jacket." I reply. I picked my outfit this morning. "That sounds cute." Eliza says. "Yeah, I just bought the jacket last weekend, TJ Maxx was having a sale." I say. "Awesome." Bree says. "I know." I reply. As the end credits for Iron Man 2 scroll across the screen, I stand up and pop in Iron Man 3. "Why are we watching the Iron Man trilogy first?" Eliza asks me. "Because, the Iron Man trilogy was the first of the movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to be created and he's my favorite superhero." I explain for the fifth time.(AN: Iron Man is my favorite superhero!!) "I still like Captain America better." Eliza says. "That's your problem." I say. "Excuse me I don't have a problem you do." Eliza says. I'm about to retort but Bree interrupts. "Girls, girls you're both pretty, now watch the movie." She says effectively ending the argument. We spend the rest of the day watching the Avengers movies, around 3:00 the girls leave so I can get dressed for my date.
"Have fun." Bree tells me before leaving. "But not too much fun." Eliza calls cheekily. Smiling, I close the door behind them. Running up to my room, I pull my chosen outfit from my closet.
I strip out of the shorts and the blue long sleeved T shirt I stole from Zed, and put on my outfit. After getting dressed, I take my white hair out of the messy bun that I piled it in and plug in my straightener. While waiting for my straightener to heat up, I pull out my makeup and brush my teeth. When the straightener is hot enough I brush my hair and begin straightening it. Eventually my hair is completely straight so I put it up into a sleek high ponytail. Moving on to makeup, I put on my foundation, some shiny bronze eyeshadow, black eyeliner, mascara, red lipstick and blush. I decide to wear a pair of hoop earrings in addition to my locket and charm bracelet. I put on my brown ankle boots right before the door bell rings, signaling Zed's arrival.
Smiling, I rush downstairs to see my boyfriend.

"So Zed, where are you taking my baby cuz for your date tonight?" Bucky asks me. He, Bonzo and I are at his house playing video games. "We're going to the skating rink." I reply. "Cheapskate." Bonzo says to me in zombie tongue.
"I'm not a cheapskate, Addison never learned how to roller skate so I'm gonna teach her." I argue. "Well that's nice of you. I tried to teach her when we were little." Bucky says. "What happened?" I ask. "She fell down and when I laughed she bit me." Bucky says. Bonzo and I laughed. "Note to self don't laugh at Addison if she falls." I say. "Yeah. Hey what time are you supposed to be over there anyways?" Bucky asks. "4:00." I reply. "Well don't you think you ought to head that way, it's 3:30 right now." Bonzo says. "Yeah probably, Bucky can I borrow the van?" I ask. "Don't scratch it." He says tossing me the keys. "You got it dude." I say taking a look at myself in the mirror by the door, to make sure I look okay. With black jeans and green T-shirt I look good. I head outside to the van.

On the drive over to Addy's I flip through the radio stations before finding one that I like. When I pull in Addison's drive way I notice her parents aren't home. I walk up to her door and ring the door bell. A few seconds later the door opens to reveal my gorgeous girlfriend. "Hey." She says. "Hello beautiful." I greet causing a blush to spread across her face.
"Oh my gosh Bucky actually let you take the van?" Addison asks. "Yeah, why is that surprising?" I ask. "It's surprising because every time I ask he says no." Addison replies, getting in the car. "I wonder why." I say, buckling my seatbelt. "I think he's afraid that I'll total his baby." Addison says. "Yeah I'm pretty sure the only thing he cares about more than this car is cheerleading and family." I say turning on the vehicle. "And Eliza." Addison adds. "And Eliza." I agree as I pull out of her drive way. I reach for Addison's hand, she gives it to me and I twine our hands together. After kissing her knuckles, I rest our hands on the console. "I love you." I say. "I love you too." She says. "So are you excited to learn how to roller skate?" I ask pulling into the parking lot of the skating rink. "I'm way fired up." Addison replies. "That's good cause you're gonna have a lot of fun, I promise." I tell her, pulling into an empty space. "Zed, as long as I'm with you I'm always having fun." Addison tells me. It's so sweet that I have to lean over and give her a soft kiss. "Now let's go, I'm so ready to do this!" Addison squeals. "Okay lets go." I agree. I get out of the van and open her door for her. "Why thank you my good man." She says. "You're welcome fair lady." I tease. "You're such a goof." Addison says shoving me slightly. I smile and twist our fingers together.
"But I'm your goof." I tell her. "So true, so true." Addison concedes. Still grinning, I open the door for her and together we enter the skating rink
