Addison seeks advice from Bree and Eliza...

"Hey girls." I greet my two BFF's at our favorite table outside of Starbucks.
"Hey Addy." Bree replies. "Hi." Eliza says. "So, how was your all's Saturday?"
I ask. "Great! Bonzo and I went swimming." Bree replies. "That sounds fun." I say. "Oh it was." Bree says. "What did you and Bucky do this weekend?" I ask Eliza. "We went camping." Eliza answers. "Bucky went camping? Since when does he camp or do anything outdoors besides cheer?" I ask. "Since I didn't give him an option." Eliza answers. "Ahh. Well did he have fun?" I ask doubtfully. "Surprisingly yes he did." Eliza replies shocking Bree and I. (AN: I want you all to picture Bucky in the woods attempting to set up a tent surrounded by mosquitoes. You'll be on the floor laughing, I guarantee it.🤣😂🤣) "Wow." I say. "Yeah. What did you and Zed do?" Eliza asks. "We went to the movies and had ice cream." I say sighing. "Well you don't seem too happy about it. What's wrong?" Bree asks. "Well I've been feeling kinda guilty lately." I confess. "About what?" Eliza asks. "All the money Zed spends on me. He's always bringing me coffee, or taking me on amazing dates and getting me all these gifts, but I haven't done anything for him." I explain. "Well did you talk to Zed about this?" Bree asks. "Yeah." I reply. "What did he say?" Eliza asks. "He told me not to worry about it and that me being with him is enough." I answer. "Yet you're still feeling guilty." Bree states. "Yeah so I've decided to do something for him. Do either of you have any ideas?" I ask. "Well you could take him on a date." Bree suggests. "Yeah I could but I feel like it should be something bigger. Eliza do you have any ideas?" I ask. "I have one but it would depend on if both of you are ready for it yet." She replies. "Well what is it?" I ask. "You know what never mind, it's dumb. Let's just go with Bree's idea." Eliza says. "No, I wanna hear yours." I press, curiosity piqued. "Okay I was just thinking that maybe if the two of you are ready, you could surprise him by taking that next step in your relationship." Eliza says. "That's brilliant!" I exclaim eyes widening.
"What's going on, I don't understand." Bree states. I quickly whisper an explanation in her ear. "Oh okay I get it. But are you both ready for that?"
Bree asks. "God yes. We've been ready for months but we always get interrupted." I reply. "Ah, Bucky and I had that problem all the time until finally his parents went out of town for a business trip." Eliza states. "Well I'm glad that the two of you are no longer sexually frustrated, but I am." I say. "What are you gonna do about it?" Eliza asks lifting an eyebrow in challenge. I sit and think for a moment. Then remembering the picnic that Zed had set up on the roof of the abandoned factory last year after a Zombie Mash, a plan forms.(Y'all know the one! 😉) "Uh oh I know that grin. Addy what are you thinking?" Bree asks. "Well I know where I'm gonna do this, but I need some help." I explain. "Help with what?" Eliza asks. "Several things, but first things first can you two get Bonzo and Bucky to move my parents old California king mattress to the roof of the abandoned factory?" I ask. "Sure, but why there?" Bree and Eliza ask in unison. "I'll show you after I set everything up. But for now who wants to go shopping for lingerie and silk sheets?" I ask. "Well that's an odd combination but sure." Bree says. "I'm down for whatever." Eliza agrees. "Great." I say standing up. After disposing of our cups, the three of us walk to a strip mall that conveniently houses a Victoria's Secret, Bed Bath and Beyond as well as a nail salon.

"So where to first?" Bree asks. "Let's go to Victoria's Secret first." I say. "Okay." Eliza agrees. "KK." Bree confirms. "Perfect." I say as we head inside.

Once inside the store we're immediately  bombarded with a variety of colors, fabrics and patterns. "So, this is all a bit overwhelming." Eliza says.
"Yeah but we can handle it." I say with confidence. "Ok what exactly are you looking for?" Bree asks me. I think for a moment. Zed once told me his favorite color was blue because of my eyes. "Something blue and lacy." I reply. "Do you want a negligee?" Eliza asks. "If they have one I like." I reply wondering just how long Eliza and Bucky have been doing it together. We walk down and isle looking for anything blue. "Ohh Addy, what about this one?" Bree asks holding up a navy blue and black lace bra. "No those colors are too dark." I say, looking through the racks. "What about this one?" Eliza asks, holding up a baby blue bra that had glass beads. I suddenly got the mental image of the beads breaking if Zed tries to take the bra off of me. "No the beads are probably a bad idea." I say, browsing through another rack. Then I come across the perfect bra and pantie set. The bra is pale blue, with white lace along the bust line, and along the bottom hem that flounces slightly. The underwear matches with a little white lace bow as well as the lace on the hemlines. "Ladies look!" I exclaim holding the bra set up triumphantly.
"Oh my gosh, Addy that's perfect for you!" Bree gushes. "She's right, it suits you. And look what I found to go with it." Eliza says, holding up a flouncy sheer white negligee that goes to mid thigh that has white feathers along the bottom hem. "It's beautiful, but how much is it?" I ask. "It says $30 but today is a 50% off sale so it's only $15. How much is that bra and pantie set?" Eliza asks. "It's originally $60 but 50% of $60 is $30. So it's 30 dollars." I reply. "So a $45 total, that's not bad for Victoria's Secret." Eliza states. "I know right, talk about a steal." I say, then I notice Bree holding a hot pink lacy bra and pantie set of her own. At mine and Eliza's raised eyebrows, she explains herself. "What? Since Addy's doing this I figured I might as well prepare." Bree says defensively. "Okay okay. It's fine, look Eliza is buying something as well." I point to Eliza who is holding a black and purple negligee. "Alright lets go check out." I say. On the way up to the counter, I quickly snag a blue and white silk and lace garter for my leg. Thank goodness the girls didn't notice. I've always secretly wanted one. After we each pay for our things, we head over to Bed Bath&Beyond. I after much deliberation, I decide upon a gold and cream satin bed set, with an elegant filigree pattern and some feather pillows as well as some cream and gold accent pillows. Then remembering the gazebo frame, I grab some sheer gold curtains to create a canopy with. I grab a huge blue and cream rug to go under the bed. After we finish shopping, the girls and I decide to go get our nails painted. I decide to get mine painted pale blue with doves and sparkles on them. Bree gets hot pink nails with glittery, gold stars. Eliza gets sparkly black nails with purple and green splatters on them. We start to walk to my house but I stop in front of a party store. "Hey girls, I'm gonna run in here and get something really quick." I tell them. They both look really confused and I know they want to ask me why, but instead they just say okay. I quickly run into the store grab two bags of what I need and check out. When I'm back outside we continue to my house.

"Hey what do y'all wanna do?" I ask. "We could watch a movie." Bree suggests. "Yeah." I say. "Sounds good, by the way Bucky just text me and said that the mattress is now on the roof of the abandoned factory." Eliza says. "Tell him and Bonzo I said thanks." I say. "Will do." Eliza says. For the rest of the day the three of us watch movies, me only halfway paying attention. There's a flurry of butterflies in my stomach.

Going to bed that night I note the butterflies are still fluttering, for the excitement of the weekend to come.
