"So Eliza, are you excited to experience a human prom?" I ask while we're waiting for the boys to show up. "I don't know if excited is the right word, I doubt it will compare to a Zombie Mash. But it is nice to dress up, not that I'll ever admit that to anyone else, and I'll be with all of my closest friends and Bucky, so it can't be terrible." Eliza replies honestly.
"I won't argue about it probably not being as good as a Zombie Mash. That was epic." I agree. "You know, I feel like I'm missing out here. I really want to go to a Zombie Mash." Bree says. "Well, since there's no longer a curfew or any rules saying you can't, why don't you come to the next one. It's next Saturday." Eliza says. "Really? That would be awesome." Bree gushes.
"You know what, you should also invite Bucky and Stacey, Tracey and Lacey. It will be good for them. Plus they'd have a lot of fun." I suggest. "I think I will." Eliza decides. "Great." I say. "Great." Eliza echoes. Suddenly, the door bell rings. I rise to answer the door but my parents beat me to it. Much like the day of the homecoming game a few months ago, only this time there are no deceptions or lies. "Come on in gentlemen, the ladies are in the family room." I hear my dad say. "Oh you three look very handsome. But just wait until you see the girls. Thanks for the flowers, Zed." I hear my mom say, closer now. Almost simultaneously, the three of us stand, smoothing out our dresses. After what seems like an eternity, my parents and the boys round the corner to the living room. Zed and Bonzo appeared to be having a conversation, but when Zed sees me, he falls silent and stares at me. I notice Bonzo and Bucky reacting similarly to Bree and Eliza. Zed's mouth is hanging open in a comical way and I giggle. This seemed to snap him out of his trance. Zed walks up to me. "Addison, you're breathtakingly beautiful." Zed breathes and slides a corsage of baby's breath, and white roses with blue edges on to my wrist. I feel my cheeks heat up and smile. "Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself." I compliment. Zed gives me a kiss but it doesn't last long for three reasons. 1. My parents are in the room. 2. My mom decides to take a picture and the camera flash causes me to bang my head against Zed's. And 3, my dad separates us. "Alright its time for more pictures. Zed, Addison, stand right there." My Mom instructs, pointing to the big glass windows on one wall. Zed and I do as we're told. My mom positions us so Zed is behind me with his arms around my waist and takes several pictures that way. Then she has us turn to an angle, with Zed still behind me, but with his hands on my hips, we turn towards the camera and we smile as she takes more pictures. She also manages to get a few pictures of us kissing. As well as some goofy ones. Then she takes the same types of pictures of Eliza and Bucky followed by Bree and Bonzo. Finally, after on large group picture we are ready to go.

When we walk outside, I'm both delighted and shocked to see a black limo. When I look at Bree and Eliza, their expressions mirror mine, telling me they had no idea bout this. "A limo? We're going to be riding in a limo?" I squeal. "Yeah, how'd you think we were going to get there? Walking?" Zed asks, clearly amused by my reaction. Zed opens the door for me, like a gentleman. "Thank you." I say. "You're welcome." He replies. Soon, we're all in the limo. It's a good thing it's big, because thanks to the skirts of our dresses, if we were in a normal car, it would be a mess of fabric and ruffles.
Once we're settled and the driver takes off it occurs to me,that my parents might have been a little overwhelming.
"Sorry about that." I apologize once we are outside. "For which part?" Zed asks me. "All of it I guess. My mom can get a little overexcited about things." I say.
"Yeah, you can say that again. Remember the kindergarten costume contest? She dressed you up as Rapunzel. After taking hundreds of pictures, she sent you off. When you won she took like 1,000 more." Bucky piped up. "Ugh don't remind me." I moan. "I bet you made an adorable Rapunzel." Zed teased. "Oh I was, how else do you think I won?" I ask. "Your mom is the mayor." Zed said. "Not then she wasn't." I say. "Oh." Is all he says. "I was just a really cute kid." I said. "What do you mean was? You're still cute, and pretty and beautiful." Zed says to me, making me feel warm and fuzzy. "Okay you guys are really cute and good together, but I'm starting to get a tooth ache from all of the sweetness." Eliza complains. "Then go buy some Orajel." Zed says, sarcastically. Whatever Eliza was going to say was cut off by Bree. "Oh look we're here." She announces, also breaking the tension. I look out the window and notice the entrance to the school is framed with paper lanterns and white fairy lights. "Wow it's beautiful." I say, as the limo pulls to a stop. "Right!" Bree agrees. "Not as beautiful as you." Zed tells me, and gets out of the limo before I can respond. A few seconds later he holds the door for me. After some struggles with our dresses the girls and I are able to get out with Bucky and Bonzo following.
Zed holds out his arm and I loop mine through it. "Are you ready?" He asks me. "I was born ready." I joke. In response he gives me his thousand watt smile, causing my tummy to erupt into butterflies. After looking at Bree and Eliza for confirmation, I lead the way inside the building, my heart is racing.
I'm so excited. Taking a deep breath I push open the doors to the school and we step inside.

Sorry I didn't include Zed's POV in this one. He will be in the next one.
