WE toured the busy streets of beijing, buying any kind of food that looked promising to us and buy about anything that looked promising to us.

"we're probably gonna have to walk around the whole trip because how much we're spending, jinyoung." i said.

"you'll live life on edge for sure when you become bankrupt in the near future." i said.

"tsk tsk, so negative." jinyoung said, stuffing my mouth with his food to shut me up.

my face started heating up--not because of what he did, but BECAUSE WHATEVER HE WAS EATING WAS SO FUCKING SPICY--

i spat out the food in a nearby garbage can. "jINYOUNG!!"

"heyyyy how could you just carelessly throw away my precious food..." jinyoung stuck out his bottom lip.

"one: because it felt like i had a fucking charizard in my mouth for two seconds, and two: YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SHOVED IT DOWN MY THROAT--"

"shhh hyejin, there are little kittens here." jinyoung placed his hand over my mouth, suddenly stopping and pointing at the sleeping cats in the window.

my gasped and looked closer. "THEY'RE SO CUTE!!" there were about five small little kittens, curled up on separate little beds inside the shop.

"let's go inside." jinyoung grabbed my hand (again), leading me into the kitten paradise.

the moment i stepped inside, i saw that there were A WHOLE SHIT TON OF CUTE FLUFFY CATS.

i sat down in happiness as the kittens boldly came to me, jumping in my lap and crawling on my arms. "oh my god, am i dreaming?"

jinyoung seated himself next to me and smiled, not at the cats, but at me. "so cute."

"i know right, they're so fucking adorable--"

"no, i was talking about you." jinyoung laughed.

i suddenly started blushing madly.

"o-okay then, moving on." i cleared my throat.

"if only the baboons i took care of were as half as adorable as you." i cooed to the small kitten, stroking its fur.

"i am cute!" jinyoung said.

i rolled my eyes. "suuuuuuuuuuure."

jinyoung hmphed, and then an idea lit up in my head. i turned to jinyoung with my eyes sparkling.

"oh no, what is it this time hyejin--"

"let's bring a kitten home."

"i can't believe you bought the kitten." jinyoung groaned. "are you crazy??"

"chill chill, i'll just keep her in my bag." i cradled the small kitten like a little baby, stroking her black fur. "she's so beautiful i'm melting oh my god--"

"we go away for a half a week and then suddenly return with a cat." jinyoung chuckled. "but it is cute."

"i know." i said smugly. i had ended up buying one of the kittens because oh damn how could i just leave them??
