**************Flashback**********************
It was the first day of my eighth grade experience, all I could do was play with my thumbs nervously.
I had finally got separated by that group of delinquents, I had been forced to be with for three years; now it was an entirely new group of people it could be good or it could be bad.
With my luck it's probably the second option.
I checked my phone to see what time it was....
Huh?
What is this?
I had a notification; it was a text from Jess.....
She was someone I had met during my summer break.
She was perfect; I had always had dreams of meeting a girl like her!!
Her deep chocolate brown eyes....... With her long caramel brown hair, her snow white skin, and her beautiful hourglass figure.
Her text read:
"Dear Calub,
You are so dear to me and I just want to let you know. . . I love you!!! You are the guy I always wanted and your permanently engraved in my heart forever <3"
My face had turned red, we have also somehow become romantic involved with her over the summer, I steadied my breathing and bravely looked forward to my time here in the eighth grade.
I was in the cafeteria just eating my lunch, and then suddenly I got the feeling something vibrating....
I flipped open my phone and saw it was text from Jess. It was instructions it read:
"Hey Calub, I want to talk to you about something. Do you think you could meet me in front of the school, by the tiger statue, next to the cherry blossom tree."
I quickly replied:
"Uh okay...... Mind if I ask what you want to talk about?"
"That's a surprise :p. Ttyl."
After I finished school I raced outside and went to the cherry blossom tree and looked for her.
I didn't see her, and then I saw an old white car with several scratches cruise in front of the school.
There Jess leaped out of the car and ran at me with full speed.
"Calub!"
She tacked me with the force of an entire football team. I tried to gather all the air she had knocked out of me.
I looked at her and smiled weakly.
"So what did you want to talk about?"
"I was thinking . . . since we are good friends and we tell each other everything....... We should get married"
She smiled shuffling from foot to foot.
She had to be kidding; neither of us was old enough to get married. She had clutched my hand tightly and looked right into my eyes,
I could tell she was being serious. I imagined her in a lovely white wedding dress and I in a dashing black and white tuxedo.
"So do you take me, Jessica Reyes, to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do!" I said without hesitating for a single second. "Do you take me, Calub Flores, to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do . . . I now pronounce us husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." I pretended to lift the gale covering her face.
Before I could even stop to kiss her, she wrapped her hand around me, pulled me down and kissed me deeply.
"So now our special date is 10/16/10..... I'm so happy!"
I felt so overwhelmed with happiness that I felt my heart would burst into thousands of pieces. I could die there happy with no regrets and. . . I wish I had. . .
