Spanish lessons

After school had let up, we all took the bus and headed home.

When we got home Zach and Yadi had gone off to do their own thing.

I watched as Luna went to the kitchen and sat at the table; I gave her a somewhat confused look.

"You said you needed help with Spanish, right?"

I nodded and took a seat across from her.

"Let's start off with something simple. Repeat after me, te"

"Te" I repeated.

I tried my best to mimic her, so I ended up focusing on her lips, It felt kind of weird but I felt myself getting distracted, her lips were like two soft rose pedals.

"A" She said getting even closer to me.

"A?" I repeated unsure of myself.

"Mo"

"Mo. What does this mean again?"

"I love you." She said her face turning a hint of red.

She made a heart with her hands and laughed a bit.

"Oh. . . Um, let's go to the next one."

"You seem a little tense Cal, you okay?"

I nod my head very slowly, almost like a robot.

"Y'know what? How about we take a little break."

She left shortly and then there was music playing; it was a Spanish pop song.

"Let's dance it will relax you."

"Okay." I said a bit hesitantly.

She grabbed my hand and put it on her hips, then she put her arms around me; she pulled me close to her my face turned a little red but I got used to it.

"Relax your muscles, this is a dance called Bachata. It's simple four steps in every direction." She shifted her feet to the right then to the left.

" Follow my lead. One, two, three, four and one two, three, four."

I quickly got the hang of it and loosened up a bit

"You got it!" She said flashing a brilliant smile.

"You learn fast maybe next time we can salsa." She said half jokingly.

"Like that thing you put on chips?" I asked jokingly, she laughed lightly.

She left for a bit I noticed that she had turned off the music.

"Now, did you hear any of the lyrics in the song?

"Just a few, like: 'yo perdio el balance por tu amor . en tu manos yo calli y tienes control sobre mi' "

"Do you know what that means?"

I shook my head no.

"It means 'i lost my balance because of your love. I fell in your arms and I am under your control.' "

"I also herd this: 'tu eres mi oxijeno y es mi todo' "

"I guess you don't know what that one means either." She looked at me and I nodded.

" It means 'you're my oxygen and my everything' "

"I think that's enough practice for today..... Um I am going to head to bed. Night Luna " I called rushing to climb up the stairs to my room
