I listened to Sevyn Streeter's version of nEXt, as I waited for Mook to come take me to my doctors appointment.

Me and Damaerkian still haven't talked, but every time he see Mook hanging around his ass wanna act all mad and shit. So I'm through, I cant stress over a basic bitch no more.

When Mook finally showed up, he looked mad so I wasnt about to bother with his bipolar self either. When I signed in, the receptionist was feeling some type of way over my best friend. She looked to be in her 40s ole cougar ass need to sit down.

"Cassidy Avery." The nurse called out.

I walked behind the nurse, and let her take my vital signs. After seeing about everything,  she informed me my doctor would be in a min.

"Hey Ms. Avery. How are you today? I'm Dr. Bryant. "This fine ass nigga said, coming in the room. I know he ain't my doctor?

Mook finally wanted to say some, "Aye, so you her doctor? " He asked sizing Dr. Bryant up. I admit ole dude looked to be in his early twenties.

"Yea, I'm the youngest on the team, but I'm also the best at what I do. " he looked pointedly at me. I blushed and looked to see Mook shooting daggers into his back. "If you like, you can switch doctors if that'll make your boyfriend happy?"

"Yes."

"No, it's fine. And he's my best friend not my boyfriend. " I said, giggling.

*Mook*

Nigga think his ass slick tryna flirt with Candy. What he don't know is that I'm definitely overprotective about her, and I know who he deal with: Shawn, Blaze, and Switch, the hoes of our little organization. My lil girl ain't gone be ran through for me to pick up the pieces.

"Ok, so your three months along and we can get to hear the heartbeat of your baby!" Keaen (Dr. Bryant ) said rubbing some gel on her stomach. He then rubbed the stick around on her belly , a faint but steady heartbeat was heard.

"Why does that sound like more than one heart, Ke- Dr. Bryant?" I asked, coming to look at the sonogram.

"Well Cassidy it seem as though you caring for two little babies! " he said grinning at her. The antiseptic smell of cleaning products, the heartbeats of the babies, and the distinct chatter of employees suddenly made me feel lightheaded . The last thing I heard before falling out was him asking for her number....
