Taking Cassidy

Ch.11

Jay made me put a blindfold over my eyes so I wouldn't be able to see.

"So you think you know your way around now huh?" I smirk, holding tight to his hand. All I know is we were walking in the forest somewhere.

"Nah your daddy actually helped me set this up. Ok, take it off."

I was real nervous but as I read the banner I cried. Will you marry me? In bold letters seemed to glow with the setting sun.
"Cassidy Amerie Avery, I can't say I've known you forever, but in the last 5 years I've never been so happy in my life. You got me two bad ass little boys, even though they aint mine, I wouldn't trade nothing in the world for them. Waking up to your bonnet, morning breath, and crusty eyes, you still are the most beautiful woman in the world mami. Tú eres mi corazón, mi alma, mi aliento de vida . Por favor, va a ser minas para siempre?" He was down on one knee with an alexandrite engagement ring.

"Yes, you asshole, yes!" I laugh while crying, hugging my fiancee. My daddy came and gave me a hug, wiping my face. My mom was nowhere to be found and neither were Mook nem.

"Where's mama, daddy?" I ask, sitting down beside him as Jay fixed my plate. Almost everybody in the family was here, except for them, even Mook's loud ass mama.

" Baby girl, you know how your mama is. She always thought you would marry Mook, and you saying yes to another man, I guess hurt her." He rubbed his head smiling sadly.

*Back at the House*

"Baby, I'm sorry your mama wasn't at the party. " Jay whispered, rubbing on my back. My head had been hurting for the longest, since leaving. Sitting up on my side, I had the urge to throw up.

Right as I reached the toilet, lunch from today spewed out my mouth. "Jayson..." I tried to say before throwing up again. Well my secret is out now, I think to myself.

Not feeling anything else come up, I clean myself up and brush my teeth. "When were you gonna tell me?" Tears fell down his face, as I grabbed my bag.

"I didn't know how to Jayson, " I look at my hands, trying to quit them from shaking. Rinsing out my mouth, I felt another wave go through.

"Does your mama know its started back?" He laid me on his chest as I cried.

" No I didn't tell them yet! " Wiping my face, I sat up slightly smiling. "But guess what, " I placed his hand on my stomach.

"Your fucking lying!!" He jumped up with me, spinning around. "Omg! I'm gonna be a papa."

"Your pregnant.!? " The door opens, with Mook standing glaring at Jay.
