Taking Cassidy

Chapter 7.!

   

I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. "Ugh, Cassidy. Damn ma so tight." Jay groaned in his sleep, pulling me closer to him.

     Looking at the time on the clock, it was 11:54 in the morning. The cook out wasn't until 2, so I decided to go shopping. Untangling myself from Jay, I showered and got dressed. My fit for the day was a white short sleeved crop top with Cali on it, white high waisted shorts and my all white jordans.

After checking on the kids, I headed downtown to a mall I used to go to as a kid. Stepping in Hollister, I immediately saw a lime green with Hollister written in blue in the kids section. Ok so I get my kids alot of stuff, my money my buisness. Getting a few more outfits for them, I then went to Victoria Secret to get me a lil some some.

    Footlocker wasn't packed so I got the latest pair of Lebrons for me and Jay, and the twins  three pairs of Jordans. "Excuse me ma, but you look familiar. What's ya name?"

Turning to face him fully, I almost dropped my shoes. " King.? It's been a long time. Cassie." Damn he still fine!

"I didn't know you was down here. How you been ma?" He leaned down to give me hug. Before I could answer him, my phone rang.

"Sorry... Are y'all up yet.?" I asked Jay, angling away from King a little.

"Yea, Cam back asleep and ya other bad ass watching cartoons. When you coming back?"

"I'm on my way. " Hanging up, I looked to see King rubbing his hair. "So umm I gotta go... I'll see you some other time?"

"Yea, that's cool with me. How long you down for?"

"At least a month, I needed a break from all the trees. "

After exchanging numbers, I headed back to the hotel. Before I could get in all the way, a football was close to hitting my face.

"Nigga! What the H-E-L-L I tell you about stuff like that!" I looked around the room to see if anything was broken. 

"Cass lighten up, we didn't break nun and I couldn't take him out cuz Cam sleep. " He saw my furious expression. "I'm sorry bae, I won't do it again. "

Tony mean mugged Jay, before getting popped in the head. "Say you sorry to your mama man."

"I'm sorry. "

"Ok, y'all lets go!" I grabbed the boys' bags and got Anthony as Jay picked up a sleeping Cameron.

(30 Mins Later)

We pulled up to my mom's house, and saw cars all over the lawn. "Uhh, Cass I think I'll go back to the hotel... I'm still a little tired. " Jay said, swallowing nervously. I rubbed his leg.

"You act like you a lil scared or some?" I teased him. Opening the door, I unbuckled Tony and was finna get Cam, when Jay grabbed him.

I knocked on the door, and stepped back. "Who at the --" My dad stopped mid-sentence, before engulfing me in a bear hug.

"My baby! Did you get here safely? Come in." I saw so many of my uncles, aunts, and cousin it was unbelievable. He led us into the kitchen where I saw my momma and Mook's momma.

"Hey, everybody!" I greeted,  giving my moms a hug and kiss.

"Omg! They are so big now," Miss Nikki, Mook's mom, exclaimed. I'm so glad Cam is a heavy sleeper, cause that woman is super loud! Tony fat headed ass already eating a piece of rib, and Jay was still standing in the doorway with Cameron.

"Mom, Dad this is my friend Jayson." Introducing him, I led him up to my old room to lay Cam down.

"You got some big ass niggas in your family! Niggas on steroids or some shit." He chuckled, holding my hand walking down the hallway.

"You so slow, they just big like that." Fixing his shirt a little, he kissed my cheek. My parents had redecorated the house since I left,  and there was an extra room all the way at the end of the hall.

Walking into the backyard, Tre' immediately came and got Jay to play basketball. "Ohh, lil cousin you doing it like that now?" Trin, my cousin from New York, asked smirking.

"Mmmhmm, why y'all worried bout it?" I responded, smiling looking down. I looked over to watch the boys playing football.

"Cuz, he got you smiling and glowing and shit. You pregnant? " Swiveling my head around to look at her, I almost got whip lash.

"Hell nah! Can't I just be happy? "

"We just messing with you girl, get out your feelings. "

Uncle Marx called us in to eat, and after cleaning up Tony we all went into the living room. Most of the older people were in here but the kids were in the dining room.

"Mmm, babe I see where you got your cooking from. This is good Mrs. Avery." Jay told my mom, eating the potato salad.

Momma cheesing so hard, like the president just gave her a million dollars. The door rang, and everybody looked around nervously. "Cassie, there's something we ---"  my granny started to say, before Mook walked in with my cousin Ashley and a...... little boy.?

Ok So Its Been Like Forever But I Know Were I Want The Story To Go From Now. And Just To Let Yall Know It's Get Better!

Oan I changed the age they are 3, about to be 4.
