"Mook, wake up. Damn can't take you anywhere! " I said frustrated.  The security helped me get him in the car, then I had to call his homeboy to get him into the house.

"What happened?! " his current girlfriend Lenae asked, running down the stairs. Maybe if you would've picked up your phone, you would know, I look at her slightly mugging her. "Omg, baby are you ok?"

Sitting on his lap, she checks to see if he was cut or something. He kisses her, and I slowly creep towards the door. "Bye yall, Im just gonna go."

I quickly ran out the building and headed up the street to my house. Tay and Alex were sitting on the corner, talking to some dude, when he gave them a black bag.

"Hey Cass! Come here," Tay called. The dude turned his head and the bright sun hit his eyes, causing the green to sparkle. "Aye King, this my little cousin Cassidy. Cassidy dis King." I looked at him and checked him out real quick. 6'6, a tattoo of a cross on his arm, both ears pierced, eyebrow and lip as well.

"Sup ma!" he said looking me up and down. I gave a curt nod, when I saw Mark walking towards us.

"Tay make sure you home for dinner, daddy gonna be home." I told him, hurrying and crossing the street to my house.

"So Takiyus? How you been in school," my daddy asked Tae, as we all were sitting in the living room after dinner. My dad is in the U.S. Army, and he was down in Cali for a while.

" Good Uncle Max, I'm quarterback this year." he responded looking at the t.v.

"That's good. Now baby girl, what are you gonna do about Damaerkian?  You gonna tell him, you having twins? "

I almost choked on my Arizona.

"He been acting funny lately, he think she talk to Mook. " Tae big mouth added in. I looked at my mom to see her face contorted in anger. My phone then rang, Mook reminding me he picking me up.

" Yea, one of my book club members said they saw you at Ruby's with him. Y 'all talking.?" My mom asked, her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.

"Ma, you know I don't do that. We are just friends. " I told her standing up. "Besides it's late."

Kissing them a goodnight,  I slipped on one of Tae's shirts. Putting it on the charger, my phone lit up.
