Ch. 5

Cassidy was immediately rushed to surgery, one of her lungs was punctured. Mook was in shock because the last thing he wanted was for her to die with them on bad terms.

Cassidy's mother came with DeMaerkian, after all he was the babies father. Due to the severity of the situation no one said anything, except for asking every now and then for God to forgive them.

The doctor came out with a clip board, "Family of Cassidy Avery?" Everyone stood and you could tell the doctor was a little scared cause the guns of some were sticking out.

"That's us. " Her grandma said, holding on to Mook to stand. "Is my grandbaby gonna be good, doctor?"

"She is gonna be ok, we stopped the blood from reaching out into her air stream. Is the babies father here?"

DaMaerkian stood up rigidly, " I am."

" Your babies are ok, but I recommend to keep her from being over worked. We may have to give an c-section when the babies are born."

*Mook*

"Can we uh see her.?" I asked, nervously scratching the back of my neck. No one really blamed him for the shooting, but they knew who were out to get them: Trigger and his boys.

"Yea she is ok to meet, but she was asking for a King? Is he here?" Ole boy was here with a lil girl, and his eyes were blank showing nothing.

"Im here. " They took him to her room, and I sat down with my head in my hands. She doesn't want to have anything to do with me now.I left out and went to my house to be met with a surprise.

*Cassie*

After being released, my moms nem made me have a bodyguard at all times. Mook hasn't talked to me since that day.I think he thinks me and King got some going.

The babies were born June 16, at 4:10 a.m. Both were healthy and turns out I didnt have to get a C-section. Tre, my cousin, came to get me to send me with him to Arkansas so I could take care of the boys in peace.
