*1 Week Later*
Colleen's POV:
Today's Christopher's birthday and neither of us got much sleep last night, we kinda decided we should sleep together this past week just so Gabbie can feel safe, neither of us are complaining.
We had a sleepless night because Gabbie kept panicking about the party and I've been up all night trying to calm her down. It's been pretty similar the last couple nights too, she seems to have the same nightmare over and over again, and after explaining it to me I can understand why.
Being in each other's vlogs nearly 24/7 this week has caused huge chaos between the fans, everyone speculating a new relationship brewing, and who were we to deny it?
Every now and then we'd hint our tweets making the fans even more exited for the future, especially with Colleen recently coming out our view counts have increased loads this week.
Her bruises and swollen eye looked almost normal again now, only if you got up close you could recognise the slight tinge it left behind, but I'm the only person who I hopes been close enough to see that.
We managed to get dressed and have breakfast before making our way to the car, she's barely said anything this morning. "Gabs are you sure you want to go? It's not too late to change your mind?" I say as we sit in the car, about to set off "I'm sure, I want to do this, for you" I smile in return and we make our way to their house...
Eventually we arrive, Gabbie's breathing is escalating fast now as we approach the house. She takes a deep breath and we walk up to the front door before knocking. Christopher opens the door to our surprise with Duncan "Happy Birthday!" we both say together as he greets us inside. I give him a hug and he smiles at Gabbie "Hey I'm Colleen's friend Gabbie, thanks for inviting me to your birthday!" She says happily, starting to relax to the nice welcome. We coe at Duncan before making our way into the living room area, to be greeted by Bailey, Jacob and Parker "Heya guys!" I say kneeling down and giving them all a tight hug, "This is my friend Gabbie!" I introduce her to them and she waves in response.
We sit and play with them for a while as I begin to question where everyone else is at, especially Rachel. I stand up and pull Gabbie into the kitchen to get a drink, and we are suddenly face to face with the one and only, Rachel.
Her expression changes as we walk in the room, she doesn't look angry, but shocked to see Gabbie's appearance. I feel Gabbie's arm shake as she tugs on me trying to leave the room, I grab on tight knowing she will regret not talking to Rachel if she leaves. I feel a tug to my other side, it's Jessica (Christopher's wife) "Hey Colleen, come help me quick would you?" I can hardly say no, before I had a chance to respond I get tugged out the room, leaving Gabbie alone, with Rachel. I feel so guilty for leaving them alone in there, I promised to stay by her every minute today. She will never forgive me. Once I finally was able to free myself from Jessica's grip we were already in the living room, I blurred out the sound around me and ran back into the kitchen, to find something I could never erase from my memory.
There Gabbie was, being pinned against the counter, touching lips with Rachel.
How could she? How could they? After all this, all the hours I put in trying to fix Gabbie and make her feel better, she thanks me by kissing my sister? My whole body goes numb and I stand frozen on the spot, all I can do is cry. She immediately tries pulling away once seeing me enter, yet Rachel's masculine figure pushes her further, making their kiss deepen.
Tears rolling down my cheeks and mouth wide open I run out of the room, out of the house and straight into my car and collapse onto the wheel.
I hear footsteps emerge from the house and fingertips press against the window of the car. I look up to see a breathless Gabbie, she's not even crying. She doesn't even care. I mouth to her to go away and presume crying into the wheel. I hear the car door slam open and close and know she's sat next to me, by her well known fragrance attempting to win my senses over.
"How could you do this" I just about manage to squeak, I hear her sigh into her hands "You really think I wanted to kiss her Colleen? She came at me and I had no where to run" she says starting to break down. I don't know what to believe anymore. "She's jealous ok? She wants to be you, she wishes she had someone and that's why she's done this" I here try and puzzle things together, she's right, I believe her. I hear her body slam against the seat. Her breathing is shaky "I love you, and you only Colleen" wait what, my eyes widen and I slowly raise my head off the wheel and look into her watery eyes "You, you love me?" I ask, I can't believe she's admitted to it. Her voice begins to raise "Don't you get it?" She laughs through her lips "You never asked me to come on stage with you, I made myself get up on that stage because I needed you Colleen" She begins to lower her voice before crying "I need you Colleen" My heart breaks for the sadness I feel in her tone "I need you to Gabbie, let's go home."
