~Mikasa's POV~
The evacuation of the civilians was now over, and our job finished I made my way to the Vanguard. I found what was left of the 104th Trainee Corps hiding out on several rooftops away from the action. I landed and immediately noticed Thomas and Armin trembling next to a window. I walked over to Armin, and Annie ended up walking next to me towards Thomas.
"Armin, what happened?" I questioned
He just sat there next to the window crying his eyes out. Annie knelt down to Thomas to give him a try. Armin was obviously not going to be of any use in the matter. She placed a hand on Thomas' shoulder.
"Thomas, please listen to my voice. Mikasa and I need you right now. We need you to tell us what happened to the rest of your squad. Please just try to remember. If you can, I'll owe you one in the future. Please just remember." Annie pleaded
Thomas looked up at her with tear filled eyes.
"Eren and Mina were eaten." said Thomas
I felt my heart stop. I didn't want to believe what I'd just heard. It couldn't accept what I'd just been told.
"How?" asked Marco
Thomas dried his tears and looked up at Marco.
"Well, we had just lost our escort from the Vanguard, and Eren tried to maneuver to kill the Titan. Mina shot in past him and killed it. Eren found himself another Titan to attack, but as he closed in on it another Titan jumped up and bit his right leg off from the knee down. Mina lost her cool and made a mad dash to be by Eren's side. Eren tried to stop her, but the same Titan jumped up and devoured her. Then a Titan picked up Armin and tried to eat him. Yeager jumped into the Titan's mouth and pulled Armin out. The Titan's jaws snapped shut on Eren's arm before Armin could get to him." said Thomas
I was furious. I couldn't hide my frustration from anyone. Annie stood up and put a hand on my shoulder this time.
"Are you okay Mikasa?" She asked
I slapped her hand away.
"I wonder why Mina lost it when Eren was bitten. She had no reason to act out in such a way." I said
Thomas stood up and approached me.
"You really are stupid aren't you." He said
I was taken aback by his statement.
"What's that supposed to..." I tried
He put his hand on my mouth to silence me.
"The two of them were together. He's had feelings for her ever since the first meal in the mess hall. While you and Armin over there abandoned him when all of us were ganging up on him, she was the only one that even bothered to stand up for him. Damn, she even put a knife to Pony Boy's throat over there! All that you're afraid of is that Eren could love somebody else, and I can honestly see why. You're such a selfish little bitch! You always wanted Eren for yourself and tried to drive everyone else close to him away! Maybe that's why he never told you about Mina, so you wouldn't run her off with your overprotective mama act! Well, he's gone now, so move the fuck on!" He screamed
I walked away from him towards the supply depot. Sasha ran up to me.
"Mikasa, where are you going?" She asked
I turned back to her.
"I'm going to clear the supply depot." I said
I shot off of the rooftop going at top speed. I slashed away at every Titan in my path. I was unaware of the dire situation concerning my gas canisters. Soon, my ODMG ran out of gas, and I plummeted into a building, and finally hit the ground. I landed on my back. As I lay on the ground, I lifted up my blade to see only a quarter of the actual sword left. I had lost all hope. Then, I looked to my left and saw two Titans heading for me. I stood up, and aimed what was left of the sword at the Titans.
"I will fight!" I screamed
I felt rumbling from behind me. I saw two more Titans climbing over the debris. This is it, I guess it's time for me to die. As I thought this, I witnessed the two other Titans running past me and killing the other two.
"Wait.....Titans killing other Titans?" I questioned
Once the other two Titans stopped moving, one of the Titans sat down and leaned against a building. It had long black hair, eight pack abs, yellow and black eyes, and seemed to have a muscular male physique. The other Titan looked like a woman. Perfect hourglass figure and everything. She got down on her knees in front of the other one. She leaned in closer to his face as they opened their jaws. Then, their lips met, and I watched as their tongues danced around each others.
"Damn it, it's bad when a Titan can get someone when I can't." I joked
Just then, Jean and Marco landed behind me. The pair ran up to my side.
"Mikasa, are you...damn that's hot stuff." said Marco.
He was intensely watching the Titans make out session. They sat down next to me, and Jean's hand fell on mine. I looked at him and blushed.
"Maybe I was too quick to judge you earlier Pony Boy." I said
He blushed fiercely as a leaned my head on his shoulder and removed my old scarf.
