It was Friday, the first game of the season and Emma was much better. Harry made sure to come by every day with homework and see how she was doing. My mum and Emma's auntie came round with food and sorts to make sure she is eating and getting stronger, and once she was out of bed her friends came to visit. She was still not back at school, though she was planning on going to the game tonight, to cheer on Harry and Niall. Her dad wasn't too delighted about her going out on such a chilly night, soon after she was sick, though my mum and auntie M talked him into letting her go, telling him it is not for long, and they will bring her back soon after.
When the time of the game neared, Emma pulled over the team's jumper Niall gave her, and a beanie form Harry to cover her head. Her jeans were tucked into her Dr. Martens and a light coat pulled around her shoulders to keep her warm.
Emma's POV
Harry's mum is going to drive us both to the game, where we would be meeting Auntie M. Dylan, Jennifer, Eleanor and Perrie at the front seats. Each player got two tickets of front seats to give away to family and friends. Since I got a ticket from Niall, Harry gave his to his mum and Dylan. Louis's parents are out of town, his second ticket went to Jennifer, allowing all of us to sit together during the game. To be truthful, I wasn't sure how the game goes. I know they kick around the boll trying to get it into the other teams net, and frankly that is enough for me.
I walk with Anne to the bleachers, when I head my name being called. We both stop and turn to see who it is.
"Auntie M," I smile, taking a few steps towards her.
"Hello darling, happy your dad let you out tonight," She hugs and kisses my cheek.
"Me too, I am quite sick being in the house. This is Harry's mum, Anne," I introduce, though I have a feeling they already know each other.
"Yeas, I know. How are you dear, how lovely it is to have Harry back on the team," Auntie M kisses her cheek as well. I am happy she is treating her in such a nice manner, and not the way some kids still treat Harry. I walk by their side and listenel to them chat about the different things grownups chat about.
When we arrive at the bleachers Dylan and Jennifer are already there with Perrie and Eleanor. They all get up to welcome me back, even though this is not really a school activity.
"Take this," Eleanor whispers in my ear pushing something into my hands. When I look down I see the diary.
"Why is it here? I don't have a bag for it," I whisper back.
"Perrie brought it with her, just hold on to it for now," I sit down between auntie M and Dylan, the diary in between us hidden from watchful eyes. I am scared Anne might see it and recognize it to be Hope's.
"Just relax," Dylan nudges me.
"Em, are you coming to the after party?" Jennifer asks leaning over Dylan.
"After party? You don't even know if they'll win," I pull a face.
"Oh they will!" Everyone say together, including auntie M and Anne.
"Wow, how is everyone so sure?" I raise my brows in question.
"Watch and see love, just watch and see," Dylan puts a hand around my shoulder.
The game begins and I am surprised to see all boys on the field gathered together in a circle as if they are best friends.
"You see, everything is left off the field for the game, once they win, everyone goes back to hating each other," Dylan whispers in my ear so my aunt won't hear, though she is too deep in conversation with Anne to pay attention.
