•Chapter 11• The Best Kind Of Nightmare

Your body fades into darkness and you collapse. Yoongi can't hold back his tears, and fights his way through the other boys, running to your unconscious side. Namjoon steps in front of your body, preventing Yoongi from seeing you. He grabs ahold of Namjoon. "Please. Just let me see her. One more time before she's gone forever." Namjoon shoves Yoongi away from him. "She's already gone, Yoongi. I won't be setting her free. At least not to you. I'm sorry."

Yoongi collapses to the ground in defeat. "You couldn't set her free to anyone else. Why even bring it up?" Namjoon turns back to your body. "There is one person." Yoongi raises his head, showing a red face and puffed out eyes. "Who? Who else is there that would treat her any better?" Namjoon picks your body up and carries you to the door, opening it. "Adrien." He leaves the house and flies to your old house.

Namjoon hated himself for this. He looks down at your body, seeing you out cold, but looking peaceful at the same time. He sighs. "I'm sorry, Y/N. I know you can't hear me, but I didn't want to do this. I just wanted everyone to be happy and safe. Jungkook will recover and everything will return to normal."

He stops outside of your house, arriving quickly. He knocks on the door, slightly hesitating whether or not he wanted to go through with this. The door soon opens, revealing Adrien. His eyes light up at the sight of you. "W-what? Where did you..?" Namjoon cuts him off by walking past him and into the house. He places your body on a nearby sofa and turns back to Adrien.

Namjoon raises his hand to the door and it closes. Adrien turns around, then back to facing Namjoon with terror in his eyes. Namjoon approaches Adrien, trapping him against the wall. "I brought her back here to keep her safe. Do not hurt her. None of this is her fault. I know what you do to her. If you so much as give her a light punch, I will find you and you will not like the consequences. Do you understand me?" Adrien nods quickly. "Good. I'm setting her free to you. I don't have time to explain what that means, but you just need to know."

Namjoon walks to the door and leaves the two of you alone. Adrien looks over at you and sits next to your still unconscious body, rubbing your arms. Your eyes start to flutter open. You shift your body slightly and Adrien looks over at you, seeming excited. "Are you awake?" You freeze, recognizing his voice. "It's okay, baby. I'm not mad." You turn your head to him slightly and see his dark green eyes once again. "Yes, I'm awake.." Adrien quickly pulls you into a tight embrace, stroking the back of your head. "I missed you so much, baby. Where did you go? What happened?"

You hug him back, slightly happy to feel someone with you again. "I went somewhere wonderful." You feel a tear rub down your cheek. "It was beautiful. There was an open sea surrounding me. The wind blew through my hair and make every moment feel amazing. There were the boys, they were so-" "Boys?" Adrien cuts you off. "You were with other men?" He leans back from you and you sit back from him, slightly lowering your head. I shouldn't have said that.

"Yes, but nothing happened. I promise." He scoffs at you. "How many were there?" You keep silent, scared to tell him anything else. "Answer me." You take a large gulp. "Seven.." He sighs angrily. You can practically feel the tension resonating off of him. You stand up, hoping to distance yourself from him. He grabs your arm before you can go anywhere, standing up behind you. "Does that explain the lovely phone call I got before you disappeared?" You nod your head slightly, feeling his hand run along your neck. "Mm. I thought so."

Without warning, Adrien slams you face first onto the ground. He quickly stands above you and turns you over, grabbing your face with one hand and pulling you up only inches from his face. "I guess you missed this, huh?" He grabs you forcefully, picking you up and slamming you against the wall. You blink back a few tears, knowing that crying will only anger him even more. "You never seem to learn. You belong to me, Y/N. No one else. No one else is allowed to touch you, speak to you, or even look at you. I don't want to have to repeat myself after this."

You flinch as he raises a fist up slightly, waiting for the pain that was coming. "Adrien..I'm sorry..please don't do this.." He stares at you for a moment. "You're not sorry. You just don't want to get hurt." With that said, he swings. One across the face, hitting you on your cheek. You cry out, hoping he'll hold up. He raises his fist again. You clench your eyes shut, waiting for the second strike. It hits you. Straight in the stomach. You bend over slightly and start coughing, but he pushes you back up. "When will you ever learn?" He says with an angered tone.

Before he can raise his hand again, he pushed away from you very forcefully by what you can only make out to be a blur. You immediately fall to the ground and clench your arms around your stomach, trying to make the pain go away. You squint your eyes back up at Adrien. He's being held up off of the ground by the blur you saw earlier. Soon enough, your vision comes back to you and you see that it's Yoongi.

"You were told not to hurt her." Adrien had no words, having Yoongi's hand around his neck. "Let me clarify something. When we say not to hurt her, we mean it. She's a whole hell of a lot more special than you and she deserves more love than you've ever felt in your life. Do I make myself clear?" Adrien nods his head while gasping for breath. Yoongi finally lets go of Adrien and watches him fall to the floor.

He turns back to you and rushes to your side, taking your hand and helping you up. "Y/N, I'm so sorry for this. I've caused a huge mess for everything and I-" Before he can finish, you smash your lips onto his. He immediately melts into the kiss, and the passion builds between you two. You must have zoned out, because Yoongi pulls away from you in an instant of pain. He clenches his stomach and falls to the floor. As he falls, you see Adrien standing behind him with a bloody knife in hand. You gasp at the sight and back as far away from him until you hit the wall.

Adrien begins moving towards you. "If I can't have you, no one can. No one else deserves you more than me." Adrien twirls the knife in his hand and raises it as he walks towards you. This is it. This is how I go. Your thoughts are interrupted by Adrien crying out in pain. He was pushed back by another blur. The blur focuses and reveals itself as Namjoon. Namjoon pins Adrien on the ground and snaps his neck with one swift motion. You cover your mouth and feel tears fall down either side of your face.

Namjoon turns to face you, a serious look planted on his face. Even in the moments that were so dark and wild, he still managed to maintain his good looks. He walks over to you and places his hands on your shoulders. "You can wake up now, darling."

You open your eyes to see yourself in a pitch black room, lying on a metal table. Your breath was heavy and the air was cold. You close your eyes in relief. "It was just a dream. It was just a dream." You repeat those words to yourself over and over again until your breathing steadies. I guess that's the best kind of nightmare.
