You sat up on the table and squinted your eyes, trying to see into the darkness. "You're awake." You turn your head back and see Namjoon emerge from the darkness and stand under the table with you. You stand up from the table quickly and back away from him. He chuckles. "You don't have to be afraid of me. It was just a bite."
"I don't care. Stay away from me." He disappears from the table, leaving a black mist in place of him. You back up against the wall and scan your surroundings, looking for him. Suddenly, the lights flick on and you can see him across the room. The room was made of marble. Everything. The walls, ceiling, and floor. The table you were seated on glistened in the light. There were no windows, just a door. There were many bookshelves scattered around the place, and cardboard cutouts of people with no faces placed in one corner.
"What is this place?" You ask, not taking your gaze off of him. He approaches you slowly and takes your hand. "This is my training room. I had nowhere else to keep you." He pulls you off of the wall and walks you to the door. "Would you like to go upstairs?" You pull your hand away from him. "I don't want to be here. I want to go back to Yoongi and everyone else." You felt anger more than anything else at this point. "I cant take you back there, Y/N. It's too dangerous."
"Too dangerous? It's too dangerous? You said you wanted the best for all of the boys right? You wanted them to be happy?" He nods hesitantly, unsure of where you were going with this. "How do you think Yoongi feels? Is this the best for him? Leaving him without someone he loved? Taking away everything from him?" Namjoon smiles at you, brushing the hair from your face. "I'm not that easily persuaded, dear."
You smack his hand away. "Take me back." He sighs. "I can't do that. I told you already." You groan in frustration. You just wanted to see Yoongi. You wanted to hear him tell you that everything was going to be alright. "If you want, I can show him to you." You look up at him and nod. He takes your hand again. "Come."
Namjoon leads you out of the small room and up a flight of stairs, stopping in the middle of the staircase. He placed his hand on a stone embedded in the wall and pressed on it slightly. Suddenly, the wall split in two, revealing a hidden room with a large stained glass mirror. It was a soft shade of pink. He led you into the room and the wall closed behind you. He left go of your hand and placed his hand on the tip of the mirror, running it down the entire length of the shining glass.
The mirror began to create a picture. The glass seemed to turn to liquid and swerve around slightly, before revealing Yoongi in his room, a pencil and notebook in hand while he sat by Tae. You gasp slightly and approach the mirror, watching. "Just write about how you feel. Write down a few words that explain your emotions and incorporate them into the writing." Tae said as he pointed to the notebook. Yoongi began writing and Tae smiles at him. "Thank you. You know, for helping me through all of this." Yoongi said to Tae as he focused on his writing. "It's not a problem."
Yoongi wrote a few more words and placed the paper down. Tae picked it and smiled. "Let's see how it sounds, yeah?" Yoongi nodded. Tae cleared his throat and began to read the paper with a cheerful tone. "I remember back then when I was fed up and lost. Back then when I fell into a pit of despair. Even when I pushed you away, even when I resented meeting you, you were firmly by my side." Tae's expression and tone slowly changed into a more sad and melancholy atmosphere.
"You didn't have to say anything, so don't ever let go of my hand. I won't let you go ever again either. My birth and the end of my life, you will be there to watch over it all." Tae scanned over the page again and sighed. "You really loved her, didn't you?" You suddenly realize what Yoongi wrote was about you. Tears began to form in the corners of your eyes. "Yeah. I did. And I miss her. I really do, Tae." Yoongi responded. Tae nodded at him. "I know how it feels. To love someone so much and then just lose them. It sucks. It really does." Yoongi looks up at Tae. "Is that how you and Jungkook were?" Tae smiles a bit. "Yeah. Something like that."
Suddenly, the picture begins to fade and the mirror returns to a normal state again. You breathe out a bit and look back at Namjoon. Tears fall down your cheeks as you speak to him. "Why? Why did you have to do this? Why did you have to take me away from him?" You fall to the ground, unable to control your tears. Namjoon kneels down in front of you and pulls you into a hug. You don't bother trying to get away. You needed someone to comfort you.
"I actually..have a confession to make about all of this." You pull your head back and wipe your tears as Namjoon speaks. "I actually..didn't bite you."
Your eyes widen at his statement. "W-What? What do you mean? I felt it." He shakes his head. "No. You didn't. You felt my nails." You were still confused. Namjoon noticed and decided to explain it. "What happened wasn't a bite. I made it look like one so Yoongi would leave you alone. You'd be safe that way. I projected an image of my fangs to make it look like an actual bite. The pain you felt was just my nails. Remember? My hand was on your neck."
Your emotions didn't change. You were still sad, even while knowing you weren't Namjoon's. "But I still passed out..how?" Namjoon smiled at you. "Just a little bit of magic." He winked at you. An awkward silence filled the room as you tried to comprehend everything Namjoon told you. "Listen, Y/N. The real reason I did this..it was to protect everyone. But there's more to it than that." You looked at Namjoon, hoping he would elaborate. "When Yoongi first started watching you, he came home every day head over heels for you. None of us knew why. So as leader, I took action. I followed him one day and saw you. I immediately knew why Yoongi fell for you."
You became enraged. "So you lied? You lied to everyone." Namjoon shook his head. "No, I didn't-" "Yes you did. Is that what your 'offer' was about? Lying to me about becoming one of you, but in reality you just wanted to make me yours?" Namjoon lowers his head and sighs. "I'm sorry." You stand up and walk back to the part of the wall that splits. "Take me home." Namjoon nods and rises, opening the wall and leading you to the front door. You walk in front of him and out the door, only to find yourself on a high cliff in the middle of the ocean.
You look out and see that the sun is setting. The view was absolutely stunning. You were taken out of your trance by Namjoon, who placed a hand on your shoulder. "I really am sorry about all of this. I just-I really liked you." You sigh. "Please, I just want to go back. Back to Yoongi. Back to everyone else." He nods, holding his hand out. You take it, and Namjoon teleports you to the front of the house.
You let go of Namjoon's hand and begin to walk towards the house. Before you can get more than three feet away from him, Namjoon pulls you back into a kiss. You were shocked at first. It didn't last long. He knew you would fight back. He pulls away and looks into your eyes. "I had to do that." He releases you from his grip. "At least once before I let you go." You stare at him for a moment, then turn and walk towards the house. You place your hand in the doorknob, but turn back to Namjoon. He looks at you and a single tear falls from his left eye. You turn back around and turn the doorknob, walking back into the house that seemed a bit less like home.
