•Chapter 16• Fall, Everything

Namjoon had finally returned to all of the boys. "Sorry about that. Shall we begin now?" The boys all nodded. Jin couldn't help but stare at Namjoon as he leaned over the table, pointing the various parts of a map the boys had layed out. His expression would change every now and then, making Jin regret leaving him in the past.

Yoongi was paying close attention to everything that was said. He wanted to make sure everything would be perfect for the hunt, as usual. His thoughts were interrupted by a faint screaming. "Yoongi!" His head immediately shot up. The others seemed to have noticed, as the room was dead silent. "Yoongi!" The Same voice called. "That's..that's Y/N." Yoongi stated as he began to sprint towards the sound. Namjoon let out an annoyed sigh. "Here we go." He began to sprint after Yoongi, leaving the others behind.

Yoongi has gotten lost in all of the corridors and hallways trying to find the sound. "Yoongi! Help me!" He could tell he was getting closer. As he roamed through rooms and hallways, he spotted Namjoon approaching a certain room. As Namjoon opened the door, Yoongi could see you inside.

You cried out for Yoongi endlessly, hoping he would find you. The only attention you attracted though, was Namjoon. He slammed open the door and stood there, piercing through your eyes. You went silent, as fear took over your system. As Namjoon walked towards you, he was forcefully pushed back into the wall by Yoongi, who had flown into him, causing the impact.

Yoongi rushed up on Namjoon as he stood. "I knew I couldn't trust you." Yoongi growled at him. Namjoon scoffed. "What are you gonna do about it? Huh?" Yoongi and Namjoon were growling at each other as the others approached the room. Yoongi glances over at them, before darting his attention back to Namjoon. "Jimin, get her out of here." Yoongi commanded. Jimin quickly ran over to you, broke the chains that held you, and rushed you to the door. Suddenly, the door slammed shut, trapping all of you inside. "No one leaves. Not until I have what's mine." Namjoon growled.

Both Namjoon and Yoongi were walking in a circle, taunting each other as you watched. You stayed close to Jimin, feeling safer around someone. Jin decided to take action. He walked over to the boys and stopped between them, causing them both to stop their movements. "Boys, please. Stop." Yoongi bared his fangs at Namjoon, causing a low growl to escape his throat. Jin turned to Namjoon and spoke. "Joonie, please. You're our leader. We need you." Jin cupped Namjoon's face, seeming to calm him down slightly. Yoongi slowly backed away and rushed over to the rest of you.

"Do you remember us? Do you remember all of the great times we had?" Jin asked, taking Namjoon's hand. Namjoon nodded slightly, looking down at him. "Please, you don't need her in your life. Look at her. She's scared. She doesn't like it here." Namjoon pulled his hand away at Jin's words. "Just put this all aside and come back to us. Please. This isn't you. This isn't like you."

Namjoon sighed, holding Jin's head with one hand. "I'm sorry, Jinnie." Namjoon pulled Jin into a tight embrace. "But I can't help this. Just stay out of the way." Namjoon ejected what seemed to be claws from his fingers and scratched Jin down his back. Jin cried out in pain and fell to the ground. Namjoon retracted the claws and approached Yoongi, pinning him against the wall.

"You're the only thing standing in my way." Namjoon said as he ejected a single claw from his finger. "So say goodbye to your happily ever after." Jimin pulled your head away from the sight, making you face his chest. "Don't watch. Don't." Namjoon raises his finger to Yoongi's throat about to push through. Tae quickly took action. He ran to the side of the room, picking up a broken piece of wood and shoving it through Namjoon's heart. He quickly backed away and stared at what he had done.

Namjoon's expression had turned into a blank stare. He released Yoongi from his grip, causing Yoongi to fall. Namjoon backed up slightly and slowly looked down at the wood that pierced through his heart. He began to laugh. It just got louder and louder. He was completely insane at this point. Eventually, he stopped and turned to face Tae. "Kim Taehyung..." Before Namjoon could finish his sentence, he fell to the floor and took his final breath.

Jin began slowly standing and took notice to Namjoon's corpse. "No..god, no." He said as he inches over to the body. Jin brushed a strand of hair from Namjoon's pale face and rubbed his cheek with soft fingertips. "Joonie...please...don't be gone...please." Jin began sobbing into Namjoon's lifeless body, squeezing onto his clothing and repeating the same word over and over again. "No...no..."

The boys all gathered around Jin, comforting him. Jin eventually gained the strength to stand again. "Let's go. We have a hunt tomorrow." Jin sniffled as he exited the room. The others followed him, except Yoongi. He swiftly picked you up, but remained silent. All of the boys left the house, sprouting their wings and flying back towards the house. As you flew, you buried your face in Yoongi's neck. Suddenly, there was a loud crack of lightening from Namjoon's old residence. The boys all turned to watch. A group of black particles floated up from the house, then darted off into the East.

Yoongi sighed. "He's gone." He turned around and began the journey again. The others followed behind. Tae has been carrying Jungkook, as he was shaken up severely after the whole event. You cried lightly into Yoongi's neck for the duration of the flight back home.

As you all reached the house, Jin walked off to the edge of the cliff and sat. Tae placed Jungkook down and walked over to Jin, seating himself next to him. "I'm really sorry about this. It's my fault he's gone." Jin remained silent. "Look, if you need anything, I'm here, alright?" Jin looked up at Tae. "I won't be coming to you for guidance. I'd like to be left alone for a while." Tae nodded. "I understand." He stood up and walked back to Jungkook, who had waited for him. The other boys were already inside.

"How is he?" Jungkook asked, fixing Tae's hair. "He's not taking it very well." Jungkook leaned into Tae's chest. "Don't let that stop you or put you down. You had no choice. It was either him or Yoongi. And he was just insane." Tae nodded at Jungkook, stroking his hair. Suddenly, the door to the house swung open quickly. Jimin screamed out for Jin. "Jin! We need you! It's Hoseok!"

Tae and Jungkook looked back at Jin, Who quickly turned his gaze to them. He stood and approached the house at a fast pace. He had already lost someone close to his heart today, he wasn't about to lose another.
