Chapter Five

First Day Of School 🚍

Monday 6:15 am

••• Karin's POV •••
Since I'm in high school I have to be to school before 7:15 so I wake up an hour before . You know how girls are when they're getting ready . I got up did my morning routine then picked out any outfit for the day .

I looked in the mirror to see if I looked alright , and I didn't . I'm so fat , I said thinking to myself . I don't look right in anything honestly . I just shrugged my shoulders and went with it . I lightly did my make up then went downstairs to eat . By time I finished it was already 7:05 . "Shit I'm going to be late." , I said walking fast to get my bag and going out the door getting into my car .

7:25 am

First Period Math

Yay , I wasn't late on my first day . I'm in Math right now and let me tell you I am a math geek . Math is one of my best subjects .
I sat in the back so I'd be alone . As all the kids walk in and get settled , soon the bell rings . The teacher came in a few minutes later . "Good morning class , I'm Mr. Humphrey and I'll be your Math teacher for the whole year ." , he greeted everyone .

We haven't really done anything since it's the first day of school . We also have no homework , yes . I hate homework honestly . I mean who doesn't ? I looked at my schedule to see who I have next .

2nd period / Health Science / Mr . Sparks
3rd period / Homeroom / Ms . Trans
4th period / Gym / Coach Brown
5th period / History / Mr . Lous Erikson

Most are male teachers , agh . I like female teachers . I hope none are too harsh .

••• Nicole's POV •••
I got to school on time . I haven't really been paying attention to anyone or anything . April isn't here today I guess because she's still on her vacation . The bell is about to ring for lunch . I looked at my schedule to see who I have next after lunch .

1st period / History / Mr . Lois Erikson
2nd period / Health Science / Mr . Sparks
3rd period / Homeroom / Ms . Trans
4th period / Language Arts / Mr. Perez
5th period / Math / Mr . Humphrey

Looks like I have band after lunch . I love band . I like playing electric guitars , acoustic guitars and drums . The bell rings and I head off to lunch . I get in line , grabbed my food and sat down at a table .

I'm in band now . I sit down in a chair and then I see this beautiful* girl walk in . Pretty green eyes and long blonde hair . She looks around trying to find a seat . "Hey ! Come sit over here , it's fine ." , I shout getting her attention . She gives me a small smile and walks over here . She sets her books down and looks at me . "Hi , I'm Karin . Karin Thomas ." , she's said shyly while sticking out her hand . I take it and shake it . "Hi , I'm Nicole . Nicole Grace . It's nice to meet you ."

I smiled back . We made small talk while waiting for the class and teacher to come in . Her eyes are so gorgeous , like the green is a perfect shade of green . "How come I've never seen you before ?" , I asked wondering . "Oh because uhm I just moved here about two months ago ." , she replied . " oh so you're new here ?" , she nodded , "Don't worry I'll help you around . What's your schedule ?" . She hands me her schedule and I scan it . "We have 4 classes together ." I smiled and handed it back to her . I didn't see her in my other classes before this one , oops .

The rest of the day went by fast . Nothing really exciting today other than having no homework from all classes . I hate homework .

I fell asleep last night while writing this . Haha , my bad . But anywhore . I'm going to update at least 2 times everyday . Sometimes it'll be more if I'm in the mood to write but I'll update at least twice each day , otay ? Otay . Bye guys .
