As soon as I got done getting to know Graham Windham, I went to get Lunch with everyone. "When is Ms. Lawson coming back?" Rachel asks. "In a week." "Ms. Lawson?" I ask Rachel. "Oh. Yeah, Have you ever heard of the Musical Hamilton?" She starts. "OMG LEXI LAWSON!" I practically shriek. "Shut up." Maria says, obviously annoyed. "Yeah." Rachel says. "She's amazing and knows My Squad Mom." I say. "Squad mom?" Rachel asks. "Mandy Gonzalez. Angelica on Broadway, she was Elphaba in Wicked, and originated the role of Nina Rosario in In The Heights. Also, she is the founder of the #fearlesssquad on social media which I'm a part of and I've made so many friends from." I tell her. "That's so cool! Can I join?" Rachel asks. "Yeah of course! All you have to do is agree to the squad rules; I HELD your hand in mine and together we changed the world. HELD stands for Help others when they Fall, Embrace differences, look for the good, and Dream Big." "Okay!" She says. "So, do you have any social media?" I ask. "No." She says. "Would you like me to set you up some?" I ask. "Sure." She says. I create her an Instagram and a Twitter and follow myself and the cast of Hamilton on it. "Thank you." She says. "No problem! Now post a picture of your squad and tag Mandy in it." I say. "Can I take a picture with you?" Rachel asks. "Sure." I say. We take a couple and she posts it. A few seconds later, Rachel says "Oh my gosh. Mandy commented 'Welcome to the Fearlesssquad'!" Rachel exclaims. I laugh and hug her. "Thanks Nicole."
When we leave lunch I feel someone grab my arms. Maria. "I know it's your first day, so I'll tell you the rules here. I'm the oldest teen here and I have control over you. First, never think that your going to get adopted because you aren't. Second, pay attention to me. Third, don't act like your not an orphan. Fourth, No freaking out about Hamilton stuff. And this is for your whole show off at lunch." She says. She punches and kicks me. She holds me down on the bed and does it even harder. "Oh, and Lastly, you'll get this from me every few hours. See you at dinner." I go into my shared room, close the door, and cry. I wish that I would still be at school, that everything would go back to normal. That I would wake up and my family and friends would all be there. I just want to get out of this place. Thanks so much Eliza for causing this! I roll over on the bed and sob.
