A very bored and lonely Declan laid on the couch in his living room with absolutely nothing to do and had been scrolling through absolute nonsense on his phone for the last hour as the boredom continued to drown him. Normally Ali would be around to help his boredom, but due to the very harsh snow conditions she had left to check on her parents and stay with them until "The Beast From The East" had past. To make matters worse the snow made it impossible for him to do any of the normal activities he would do, such as golf, and Declan absolutely dreaded being cold and would do anything to make sure he remained warm.

But, after hours of doing absolutely nothing and trying to find something to do he got fed up with it and tossed his phone on the round coffee table in the middle of the living room as he desperately tried to think of anything to do. Then he thought that surely Ant would be just as bored as he was and would be willing to pass the time with one another. Everything seems dull and boring when they aren't around each other, so the older Geordie believed Ant would happily enjoy his company and 'lively' spirit.

So, a very excited Declan ran to get ready in snow appropriate clothing, pulling on a large snow coat and boots, before trudging into the icy and snow filled terrain. Luckily, the new house where ant had been staying wasn't too far from his house so a car wasn't needed. Although trying to even drive in this weather would be dreadful and he wouldn't even try. As the older man trudged through the snow as quickly as possible, he managed to reach his Ants, as his body slowly began numbing, desperate for the warmth he will receive upon entering his best friends home.

As Dec walked up to Ants door he lifted the welcome mat in front of the door revealing a spare key for the house. Declan placed the mat down and unlocked the younger geordies home and trotted in, being sure to take off his shoes before scattering water and snow everywhere.

"Anth! Its Declan I came to hang out!" Decs voice echoed through the empty house planting a confused expression on the shorter man. Dec shut the door and walked over to Anthony's kitchen and rummaged through the cabinets and fridge pulling out and anything he found interesting. Surely Ant wouldn't mind if he ate while waiting? So, Declan began unwrapping all these new found goods and eating as much as he felt was enough not even realizing the growing pile of growing various wrappers throughout the kitchen. Dec ate an assortment of chocolates, crisps, leftover chips and Chinese from one of ants takeaway box, some cupcakes Ant had left to cool, and being the very healthy man he was he decided to choose a glass of water over the assortment of sweet drinks in Ants fridge. As Declan finished off the last of ants cupcakes he heard the familiar barking and key mingling of Ant and Hurley. The second the door flew open Hurley had began barking and scurrying to the kitchen to find a very cheeky Declan eating everything he laid his hands on.

"Declan! What are you doing here man?!" Ant was shocked to find the older Geordie mindlessly making a large mess throughout the kitchen with out even batting an eyelash at the destruction he was causing. How a grown man was blind to a trash can was beyond him.

"I was waiting for you to come back." Dec smiled sweetly wiping his face.

"Look at the mess you've made, Dec! There's rubbish everywhere!" Ant groaned as Dec scanned the room blankly. As Declan remained oblivious, the younger geordie eyed a white plastic box and felt annoyance twinge in his voice, "Did you eat my Chinese man?"

"Oh that. Aye sorry man." Dec rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly as he tried to collect some of the wrappers.

"And me cupcakes?" Ant pointed at the empty silver platter that had been wiped clean, "You ate all me bloody cupcakes?"

Dec cracked a cheeky smile at his best friend, "They were quite good like. I thought you'd be a rubbish baker."

Ant shook his head and tried to hide the forming smile on his lips, "I can't believe you."
