Rye's PoV

continued..

"what happened to my bed" i ask, walking into our room, my eyes landing immediately on my bed that was covered in bags, pillows, rubbish, quite literally everything the boys owned pretty much.

"ah well you see- about that-" Jack says unsure, Andy begins to laugh.

"we may have woken up only 20 minutes ago and realised the flat was a mess so yeah that's us tidying up" Andy tells me and i groan.

"jesus this room looks smaller in real life" faith says walking through the door, i laugh.

"it's honestly tiny, and now a mess"

"nothing new then" she jokes and i laugh.

"okay let's tidy this up and get sorted out then" Mikey says to us all.

"Do i have tooooo" Mia whines, sitting down next to brooklyn on the sofa.

"how about i take you to the park?" brooklyn suggests, looking up at faith and then me.

"can i go aunty faith?" Mia asks sweetly and faith nods.

"sure, stay with brooklyn though" faith tells her and brooklyn smiles.

"i'll protect her with my life" he says, picking Mia up and heading out the flat.

"so now there's 4 left to tidy" Jack groans.

"no, 5. i'm helping" faith says, going over to help mikey with making the 3 bunk beds that were visible, unlike mine that was covered in basically the whole contents of the things we owned.

"you really don't have to Faith, you're our guest" Mikey tells her but she shakes her head.

"it's fine honestly" she smiles, "okay so who's bags are whos?" faith asks, holding up each bag one by one. me and the boys help sort them out, placing them each on the right bed the bag belonged to, brooks on the sofa.

"okay we're getting somewhere" i say, heading over to my bunk that faith is now attempting to make.

"i really don't know how you's live in such a small space, i would have gone insane by now" she jokes and i just laugh.

"you get used to it" i tell her, kissing her cheek.

"how cute" Andy comments, finishing sorting out his bed.

"just adorable" jack adds, sitting cross legged on his bed which seemed to have gotten worse than before we started.

"Jack what have you done i just made your bed like 1 minute ago" Mikey whines, i smirk.

"i dunno" jack says looking around at all the mess.

"faith's done a pretty good job of mine i must say" i smile. it's a lot tidier than i could have made it anyways.

"why thank you beaumont, brooks area looks pretty good too" she smiles and i laugh.

"the poor elf doesn't even have a proper bed i feel bad" i say.

"wonder how that happened.." jack says, causing us to all laugh.

"okay no seriously jack how did you make such a mess in so little time" faith laughs, jack just shrugs.

"somebody help this poor child" Andy says, mikey and i laugh before sit down on our, now tidy, bunk beds.

"oh i will, get up get up" faith says and jack does as he's told.

"i'm useless" he groans as he attempts to help faith with the unknown pile of mess.

Brooklyn's PoV

"i've never been to a park beforeeee" Mia tells me as we cross the road to the park. she held my hand the entire way and pretty much dragged me excitedly towards it. she's so adorable.

"you haven't..?" i question, giving a small smile. she shakes her head.

"nope, hospital didn't have one" she tells me, walking over to the swing. my heart drops. it's scary to think she's not been able to live a normal childhood.. experience things all kids do, like going to a park for example, yeah it's a small thing, but its just something thats well, basically a normal thing for a kid to experience? i don't know..

"well.. there's a first time for everything and uncle brooklyn is gonna make it as special as he possibly can" i smile, helping her into the swing. i push it gently and Mia giggles as it swings forward. for a while she just giggles away, telling me to push her higher, but after a while, she begins to go rather silent.

"i wish my daddy was here" she says suddenly and i gently stop the swing, walking around and kneel i front of her. her face had gone sad and she looks almost as if she was about to cry.

"hey hey, it's okay Mia, it's okay, please don't cry" i tell her, lifting her out the swing, hugging her in my arms. she sniffles.

"i miss him lots" she tells me and i wipe away her tears.

"i know you do, and he'll be home soon i promise you" i tell her and she smiles.

"thank you uncle brooky" she smiles, "can we go back to our family now?" Mia asks and i smile wide.

"of course we can" i say, heading inside, carrying Mia in my arms.

our family. i like that.

A/n- oh brooklyn.. if only you knew..
