Grayson's POV

On my last day of junior year I was given an assignment, to bulk up and try out for the football team in my senior year. I could obviously decline it if I felt the need but why would I? I would get the best article in Bilford High history.

"The Mess of Popular Life" by Grayson Haskell. I could reveal the horrors of their lives, giving them no reason to hurt anyone again. Especially my group of friends.

Why was I chosen? Well I'm the most fit out of anyone in the newspaper club, basically giving me a shoe in for the part.

The club even hired a personal trainer for me, that's how serious they all were about it. My summer would be filled with sweat and muscle. At least that's what we are hoping for.

My best friend, Carl, was the president of the newspaper club. He has been planning this for months and I couldn't screw it up now. I couldn't ruin any chances he had at being happy.

I would work my hardest to break through these stupid walls we have. To stop all of this bullying and degrading. We aren't the peasants and they certainly aren't the royals.
