"Possibly" I said smiling and I definitely did not want Shawn to hear. "First day and you've already caught feelings for someone" Grace said smiling. School finally came to an end and I walked home and I though about my first day, of Grace can see that I like Shawn just by my body language Shawn will one hundred percent find out! But apparently he's really nice so I should be fine if he does but hopefully it doesn't come to that. My number one goal is to talk to him, he's super shy! Honestly how does he talk to his friends?
The next day arrived and I had English and of course I was next to Shawn, all night I've been thinking of ways to talk to him and what I could say and how to get a conversation going, I might just ask about homework or something? But what if I seem boring? I'm overthinking this, aren't I?
We walked into class and Shawn was already sitting down and he looked extremely attractive.
Okay Isabella just do it, just talk to him it's not like he's going to kill you if you talk to him, just do it. I can't, what if I screw up?? What if I say something wrong?
"Is there any homework due for maths?" I asked as calmly as I could. "No, but if there was I wouldn't of done it anyway" Shawn said. Phew I thought he was just going to say no or something and that would of been a awkward for me.
"I know I just needed an excuse to talk to you" I said and Shawn looked up from his work and looked at me. "We didn't talk all last lesson and it was awkward so thought I'd be basic and ask about home work" I said and Shawn laughed slightly. "Good idea because we're talking now" Shawn said smiling.
"So How was it? I saw you guys talking" Grace said as we left the classroom. "It was good, you know we were talking so that's a start" I said. "Great because Alyssa has invited Shawn and his friends to hers tomorrow so that should definitely get stuff going" Grace said with a huge smile.
