"Is that true?" My mum asked. Should I be honest? Should I tell her yes? Or should I panic and run upstairs? "Yeah He is" I replied as calmly I could. My dad didn't seem that bothered about it, I thought he would hate the thought of me having a boyfriend. "How lovely! How kind have you both been together?!" My mum asked. "Not long" I replied, this is going better than what I thought. "He isn't bad look either" she said smiling. "Mum!" I said laughing. "What? I'm just saying you haven't done that bad" she said. "Is he treating you well?" My dad asked more seriously. "Yeah of course he is! He's honestly nicest boy I've ever met" I said smiling. "You haven't met many" I heard Rachel say under her breath. "Wait, you have a boyfriend?" My little brother Stefan asked. I looked over at him a little surprised at how slow he caught onto things. "Does he like ice hockey?" He asked. "I don't know, I'll ask him" I said. "Wait you don't even know what he likes?" Rachel asked we a bitchy tone in her voice. "He likes singing, he's more passionate about that than ice hockey I suppose" I snapped back. "Well he sounds wonderful" my mum said and I'm glad my parents like him. "Invite him over for dinner this weekend" my mum said. "What no, we've barely been together for two weeks! That's too soon" I said. "Okay okay, well I want to meet him properly at one point" She said smiling. "Yes of course he'll properly come over at one point after school to you'll see him then" I said as I sat down at the dinner table and started to eat my dinner.
The whole time Rachel was looking at me full of hate and I think she's jealous of me and a part of me likes that.
The rest of week at school was of course boring but Shawn was there and it consisted of hugs from behind, kisses on my cheek and holding hands, it was everything I wanted.
Saturday arrived and Shawn had a surprise for me and I have no idea what it could be, he just said meet me outside my house (Shawn's house).
I stood awkwardly outside Shawn'a house and he came out looking as cool as usual but he wasn't alone.
