The next day, I walked to Ruko's house feeling slightly paranoid. As soon as I arrived in the front of his house, I immediately knocked on the door. "Ruko! You're late again!," I yelled as I knocked rapidly on the door. "I'm coming!,"Ruko yelled back as he opened the door. "When will you change?," I asked with a sigh. "Well... I'm not so sure...," Ruko replied.

I told him what happened last night as we walked together to school. "Really? Someone chased you?!,"Ruko asked in disbelief. I nodded my head. Ruko sighed. "I should've walked you to your house...," Ruko mumbled. "You don't need to anyway," I said. Ruko pondered for a moment.

"From now on, I'll walk you home...!," Ruko cheerfully said. "W-what...?" "I said, I'll walk you home starting later," Ruko repeated. "Seriously? You don't have to do that...," I mumbled. "Why do you keep on denying? Don't you want company when walking home?," Ruko asked. "Of course I do... But, what if that person chases you?," I asked back. "Well... I'll kick whoever they are if they try to chase both of us...!," Ruko replied  kicking the air. "Pfft! Yeah, right!" "Whatever you say, if you want to protest, I don't care because I care for your safety... So I'm gonna walk you home wether you like it or not," Ruko said, crossing his arms. "Well, if you say so...," I mumbled.

I am quite happy that I actually get to spend more time with him... Maybe walking with him to my house isn't a bad idea...

                                   ...

Classes are over. Ruko walked with me to my house. "So... How long are we gonna walk until we reach your house?," Ruko asked. "Probably half an hour," I replied. "Which is...?" "Thirty minutes... Obviously! Don't you know?!," I asked. "Haha, of course I do," Ruko replied. After the short chat, awkward silence occured. Wow... I didn't expect him to be this quiet... "So... You didn't see the person who chased you?," Ruko asked. I shook my head. Suddenly, I could feel someone else's presence.

"Are you two some kind of dating?," a familiar voice asked from behind. We both turned to see Nao. "Of course not! It's quite obvious that he's just walking me home," I replied. Ruko glanced at me. "Really? It seems like you two are dating right now. Always walking together...," Nao said. "W-well, is there something wrong with being friends?," Ruko stammered.

Although Nao seems to be teasing, she still glares at me every once in a while. "What about you? Don't you have a friend?," I asked. Nao stood silently. Her mouth shut tight. "Are you not in a relationship with anyone?," Ruko asked. "Well... There's this boy that I like...," Nao mumbled. What...? Wow, I didn't expect her to respond to that question. And I didn't expect her to actually like someone. "Ah...! Really? Who is it?," I asked. "Umm, it's...," Nao mumbled as she covers her red face. "Kou Miyaki...," Nao mumbled. She likes Kou?! I'm sorry, but Kou is a delinquent! There is actually a group of delinquents near the school's incinerator. "Really? Kou?," Ruko muttered. "Why? Is there something wrong with that?," Nao asked sternly. "No, I'm just surprised hearing that you like a delinquent," Ruko replied. "Should we go to school now?," I asked as I crossed my arms. "Ah, right! Let's go now!," Ruko said cheerfully as he walked ahead of me.

As we walked together as a trio, it started feeling awkward. It felt different walking with Nao. It felt like someone is watching my every move. After several minutes of walking, we finally reached the school. The three of us walked to the same classroom since we are in the same class. "Hey, Ruko!Could I join you and Akari during lunchtime?" Kasumi approached Ruko. Oh, Kasumi. The three of us used to be best friends when we were young. Every time we play, she would be the princess, Ruko would be the knight, and I would be the evil sorceress. Ruko would say that he prefers to have an alternative ending and calls the evil sorceress a Mayadere.

"Well, sure! Did you just transfer to our class?," Ruko asked. "Yes I did! And I'm so glad I ended up in you and Akari's class!," Kasumi replied happily. Wow... Kasumi hugged Ruko and whispered in his hear. "I'm so glad...!" Although I am a few feet away from Nao, I could still feel her cold glare. She is obviously lying about Kou... It's pretty obvious that she likes Ruko. I guess Ruko is her senpai.
