Aaron took my stuff into my room. I walked in behind him. He set my stuff down and closed the door. "Aaron what are you doing?" I asked him

"Sage I....."

Sages POV

"Sage I love you." Aaron said. Now that caught me off guard. I thought he was just here to apologize but this. He hasn't said those words since are 1 year anniversary.

Flashback;

It was mine and Aaron's one year anniversary. Aaron texted me telling me to get ready, dress comfy casual. I put on a pair of black leggings and I put on my Minnie Mouse sweatshirt. Figuring this was casual enough.

Aaron knocked on my door at exactly 6:00. "Hi babe." he said

"Hi." I said back. He kissed me on the check and helped me in the car. "Where are we going?" I asked "Its a surprise." Aaron said. After driving for a couple of minuets we finally arrived at the beach. "We are here." Aaron said "Why are we at the beach?" I asked

"Well it's our one year anniversary and I wanted it to be special and well this is where we met so."

I kissed his cheek and said. "Its fine Aaron I love it."

"Great."

Aaron helped me out of the car and got the Picnic basket. We walked to the beach and sat down. We ate and we talked and laughed. We were looking at the stars when Aaron said "Sage there is something I want to tell you."

"What is it?" I asked him

"Well we've been dating for a year now and it's been the best year of my life and I just want to let you know that I love you."

"Aww Aaron I love you to." I kissed him and then he took me home.

End of flashback.

That was the first and last time he said that. Aaron isn't one who like to share his emotions with other people, so it's kinda rare for home to say this type of stuff. "Sage!" Aaron yelled. "What?" I asked "You have been staring at me for the last two minutes what were you thinking about?"

"Oh nothing."

"It wasn't nothing, you did that cute little face you do when you concentrate. Where you look at something for along time and then you start to scrunch your nose and you get that little wrinkle in your forehead." He laughed while poking my nose.

"It's not funny and I'm sorry Aaron but I can't."

"But why not."

"Aaron you had sex with my best friend who is now no longer my best friend."

"Yea but that was two years ago and I regretted It after I did it. I kicked Haylee out of my house and told her I never wanted to see her again."

"Aaron I love you to pieces but I can't have my heart broken again, it been broken enough ever since I moved to California. I thought things were going to get better but things just got worse."

"Sage I promise things will get better from here, you have to trust me and your dad and your brothers."

"Aaron."

"Please just give me another chance, I promise I won't screw it up this time, I love you."

"I don't know Aaron."

"Sage please."
