Sage's POV

I was in my room laying on my bed trying to process what Aaron said when I heard a ring indicating I got a text.

To: Sage

From: Chris

Hey Sage it's Chris🙈

Hey Chris😊

I was wondering if you wanted to hang out at the beach today.😁

To: Chris

From: Sage

Of course. Who is going to be there?

To: Sage

From: Chris

Just me and my Brother.

To: Chris

From: Sage

Okay I'll see you there.

To: Sage

From: Chris

I will pick you up in a few.

I got up and put on my pink and black polkadot bikini. I put on a pair of shorts and my volleyball jersey. I grabbed a bag and put a towel, my phone and ear phones and tanning lotion in it. I grabbed my slides and walked down stairs. While I got downstairs I heard a knock at the door. "Coming!" I yelled. I opened the door and saw Chris at the door. "Hey you ready to go?" Chris asked "Yea hold on a second." I grabbed a water out of the fridge and walked out the door. Chris helped me into his car. "Hey." Crawford, Chris' brother said. "Hey Crawford." I said. We drove to the beach singing random songs and laughing. When we got the beach I grabbed my stuff and walked down to the water. I laid my towel down on the sand and laid down. I took off my tanktop and shorts. I plugged my earphones into my phone and put them in my ears. I was just laying there when I felt someone poke my face. I turned around and saw Chris sitting there. "Hi." I said.

"Hi." He said.

"What do you want?" I asked while laughing.

"Are you gonna go in the water?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I don't like water."

"Lies."

"No."

"Sage please come in the water. I'm lonely out there." he wined

"I'm sorry but I don't swim."

"Fine."

The next thing I knew I was being lifted in the air.

"Chris I swear to god put me down!" I yelled

"Not until you say 'I love you Chris!" He said

"Never." I yelled

"Fine then enjoy being upside down."

"Fine I love you Chris!"

"Good I love you to."

Then he put me on the ground. When I looked up I saw someone standing there ?holding a bouquet of flowers and starring at us. When I took a closer look I saw it was Aaron. "Shit." I said

"What?" Chris asked confused.

I saw Aaron throw down the flowers and he ran away.

"Chris I'm sorry but I have to go. I'll call you sometime." I told him

"Okay." he said.

I put on my shorts and my jersey. I grabbed my bag and ran after Aaron.

"Aaron wait!" I yelled chasing him.

He just ran faster.

"Aaron!" I started running faster.

He was still running and he wasn't slowing down. I decided to tackle him. I jumped on his back and tackled him to the ground. "What the hell Sage!" Aaron yelled. "What?" I said back

"Why the fuck did you tackle me."

"You wouldn't stop running."

"I know."

"Why?"

"Because you told that asshole you loved him."

"There was a reason Aaron."

"What was it Sage."

"He told me to say that or else he would have thrown me in the water and Aaron you know what happened the last time I was in water."

"But Sage it hurt when you said you loved him."

"I'm sorry Aaron I don't love him, I love someone else."

"Who?"

"You." I said. I kissed him and he kissed back. It felt like we were back on the beach for our first anniversary date.

We stopped kissing and Aaron said "I love you to Sage."

I got off of him and helped him up off the ground. "How about we go home and watch some movies." He said. "Sounds great." I said. I grabbed his hand and started walking toward my house.
