Shawn's P.O.V

We got to the hotel and went to Hayes's and Rachel's room since that's where Serena will be staying. I sit on the bed and pull out my phone. I text the guys and invite them over to meet her.
After 5 minutes, there is a knock in the door. I open it to see the other 8 guys and Kaylie standing there.
"Hey," Nash says pushing past me along with the rest of the guys. They all sit down and make then selves at home before introducing themselves to Serena.
"Hello, I'm Nash," he says sticking his hand out for her to shake. This goes on until everyone has introduced themselves, but all I could think of was what if she likes another one of the guys. I've always been self conscious. I mean I'm not the hottest person ever, and everyone is always in love with Nash or Cameron. Who can blame them, I'm nothing special.
"I'm have to use the restroom," Serena excuses herself bring me out of my thoughts.
"So, is Serena single?" I blurt out without knowing.
"Aw, does little Shawn have a crush," Jack G. teases me pinching my cheek.
"No, I don't," I protest which was a complete lie.
"It's okay Shawn, and yes she is," Rachel smiles. This statement makes me grin ear to ear. Finally, we here the door handle turn and see Serena step out.
"Well, we better get going," Nash says standing up and walking out the door followed by the rest leaving me and Serena by ourselves. Assholes.
After an awkward silence I finall speak, "so, how's it going."
"Okay, I guess," she responds looking down and playing with her fingers," what about you?"
"Good. So, tell me about yourself," I say trying to start a conversation.
"Well, what do you want to know about me?" she asks.
"I don't know. Um, what do you like to do in your spare time?" I ask truly interested.
"Well, I like to read but only really good books like the fault in our stars. I like music, and I also sing a little," she mumbles the last part hoping I can't hear it.
"Wait, so, you like to sing. Can I hear you?" I ask.
"Um, I don't know. I'm not that good," she says looking back down.
"Come on. I'm sure you're amazing," I encourage her.
"Fine. What should I sing?" she questions.
"I don't know. It's up to you," I smile. After thinking for a while, she begins.

When she finishes, I am astonished. She is amazing.
"Wow!" I exclaim.
"Am I really that bad," she says embarrassed.
"Far from it. You're amazing," I explain.
"Really? Thanks," she says surprised.
"No problem. So, there's something I've been meaning to ask you," I start.
"Go ahead," she smiles making me relax a little.
"Would you like to go out with me tomorrow night, I mean you don't have to if you don't want to," I ramble on until she interrupts me.
"Of course. I would love to go out with you," she says excitedly.
"Awesome, how does 7 sound to you?" I ask.
"Sounds amazing," she smiles," I wonder where the rest of the boys went?" she asks.
"I think I know," I say walking over to the door to have them fall in. They all get up and brush themselves.
"Hey, what's up," Matt asks acting like they weren't listening to our whole conversation. I just laugh and walkover to Serena and sit next to her.
