The date

Hayes's P.O.V

I don't know if I should tell Rachel now or not. I know she's going to eventually find out, but I'm just worried how she will react. I decide to tell her after the date tonight.

Rachel's P.O.V

All the way home Hayes was acting weird. I hope he's okay. I brush it of as we pull into the driveway. After helping Skylynn out of her seat, Hayes comes to the other side of the car and holds my hand as I get out of the car. He's such a gentleman. As we walk inside I glance at the clock, it says 3:45. I decide to go ahead and get ready for tonight. Kaylie and I decided to go see The Fault in our Stars. (I know it hasn't come out yet but I love the book so.) I take a quick shower. When I get out, I put on my make up and get dressed. http://polyv.re/1pmfJF5 By the time I was finished it was 5:30. When I come out of the bathroom, I look over and see Hayes laying on the bed in a nice shirt and khakis.
"Ready to go?" he asks holding out his hand for me to take.
I grab it and smile. As we walk down the stairs, I accidentally trip sending us both tumbling down the steps.
I hear laughing. I look up to see Nash. I flip him of as we stand back up.
"I'm sorry," I whisper embarrassed,"I'm pretty clumsy."
"And that's why I love you," he whispers back kissing me on the forehead.
We look up when Nash clears his throat. I look down embarrassed.
"So where are you guys going?" Nash questions.
"We're going to the movies with Taylor and Kaylie," Hayes responds.
"Let me guess. You need me to drive you there," Nash asks raising his eyebrows.
"Um, yeah if you don't mind," Hayes says.
"Fine, but only because Rachel is the only girlfriend of yours that I actually like," Nash responds.
"Thanks," Hayes says.
"You're welcome wittle brother," Nash teases pinching Hayes's cheeks.
"Shut up," Hayes says angrily.
Nash puts his arm around my shoulder as were leaving.
"So, how's Hayes in bed," he whispers winking. Hayes obviously hears him and blushes.
"Better than you'll ever be," I smirk.
"Well," he says putting his hand over his heart pretending to be hurt.

*skipping car ride*

We walk in and see Taylor and Kaylie standing there.
"Hey," Kaylie yells running over to me.
"Hey," I say hugging her.
While we talked Hayes went with Taylor to buy our tickets. Once we sit down, Hayes wraps his arm around my shoulder, and I cuddle into his chest.

*After Augustus dies*

"Why Augustus Waters? Why did you have to go and die on us?" I cry into Hayes's chest.
"Sh, I know baby," he whispers into my ear rocking me back and forth.
By the end of the movie, I had cried all I could and had finally calmed down.
"How about we go get some pizza," suggests Taylor.
We all agree and walk to Taylor's car.
"So, did you enjoy the movie?" Hayes asks.
"Amazing, but I wish Augustus and Hazel could have stayed together, instead of him dying," I respond,"how about you?"
"I liked it, but this best part was getting to comfort you," he smiles, and I smile back.
As we pull into the parking lot, there is a swarm of fans. Hayes wraps his arm around my waist protectively which earns me a couple of death stares.
Once we get inside, we sit in a booth and order two large pizzas. As I'm about to take a bite, a fan walks up to me.
"Shouldn't you lay off the pizza. I mean you're already going to get really fat because your pregnant," she smirks. At this remark, my heart starts to beat faster.
"Wait how do you know I'm pregnant?" I question with a shacky voice.
"You haven't seen. It's all over twitter," she says,"well bye slut."
"Excuse me it's just as much my fault as it's hers," Hayes speaks up.
"Well either way she's a slut," she says turning around.
"She's not a slut. You don't even know her. She's a beautiful, caring person. Two things you'll never be. So, would you kindly fuck off," he shouts.
"Fine," she says before sulking off.
"I'm sorry about that. They're stupid and don't know the real you," he whispers pulling me into a hug.
"I know. Thanks for standing up for me by the way," I smile up at him.
"No problem. This is half my fault anyways," he says kissing my nose. Gosh he's so adorable!
"We should get going," Kaylie suggests.
"Yeah," I say standing up and grabbing my purse.
The ride home was silent except for the radio softly playing. Kaylie had her head resting on Taylor's shoulder as he drove. They are such a cute couple. When we finally reached the house, Hayes comes over and opens the door for me. We walk in and see Nash laying on the couch with Skylynn lying on his chest asleep.
"Aww," I say sitting down next to them.
"How was the date?" Nash asks.
"Great except for a jealous fan," I explain.
"Oh I'm sorry," he says giving me a sympathetic smile.
"It's fine," I say,"I'm going to go to bed. I'll put Sky in bed too."
"I'll be there in a second," Hayes says while I pick up Skylynn and walk upstairs. About half way up, she begins to stir and opens her eyes sleepily.
"Go back to sleep, sweetie," I whisper and kiss her on the forehead.
"Okay," she whispers and lays her head back on my chest. Once we get to her room, I lay her down and tuck her in under her Disney princesses blanket. I walk to my room and grab a pair of sweatpants and one of Hayes's sweatshirts.

Hayes's P.O.V

After Rachel took Skylynn upstairs, Nash turns to face me.
"So, Magcon called while you were gone, and they want us to come for 3 months," he explains.
"What? I can't leave Rachel for 3 months," I yell.
"I know. I explained the whole situation to them, and they said you could bring her," he explains, and a wave of relief washes over me.
"Awesome. So, when do we leave?" I ask.
"This Wednesday," he replies.
"Okay I'll tell Rachel," I say running up the stairs. Once I reach the top, I hear the water turn off in the bathroom and decide to surprise her.

Rachel's P.O.V

I walk into the bathroom and get in the shower. I turn on the warm water and wash my hair with my vanilla shampoo and body with my strawberry body wash. I get out and dry myself off and wrap the towel around me. As I was brushing my teeth, Hayes walks in.
"Hayes get out," I scream.
"Why?" he asks.
"Because I don't have any clothes on," I yell.
"I've already seen you naked. I mean that's how that happened," he says pointing to my stomach.
"Still. Just please get out," I complain.
"But I need to take a shower," I explain.
"Take one after I leave," I argue.
"But I need one now," he insists.
"Fine," I say giving in. I continue to get ready as he undresses. When he takes off his shirt, I can't help but stare.
"Like what you see?" he smirks and winks at me.
"Shut up," I say blushing.
I leave the bathroom and go to the bedroom. I play on my phone until I hear the water shut off. A minute later Hayes walks in with a towel around his waist. I look away as he gets dressed.
"You can turn around now," he says.
I turn back around, and he comes over and sits next to me.
"I have some news to tell you," he says,"so, Magcon called today, and they want Nash and me to join them for 3 months." At this my heart drops.
"But they said you could come if you want to," he adds.
"That sounds awesome," I say with a smile, but on the inside I was worried to death. The only people I'll know are Hayes, Nash,Cameron, and Taylor. What are they going to think about me. I mean the first time they're going to meet me, I'm going to be pregnant with their friend's baby.
"Great! I'll tell them tomorrow," he says pulling me out of my thoughts.
He turns off the light and lays down in bed. He pulls me closer to him and wraps his arms around my waist. As we cuddle, my eyes get heavier until I fall into a peaceful sleep.

----------------------------------------------sorry I haven't updated for a while. I had a book report due, and I had to read 85 pages in one night. this is my last week of school so I should be able to update more during the summer.
