The Christmas Party

Rachel's P.O.V

After Hayes gave the the ring, we both run upstairs to begin getting dressed since Elizabeth had agreed to host Christmas lunch at the house. I slip on a burgundy lace dress that fell just above the knee along with black tights and black ballet flats. I do a slight smokey eye with a bold red lip. I use my curling want to leave loose curls throughout my dirty blonde hair.

After everything looked nice, the door bell rings. I slowly walk down the stairs, peaking around the corner to find Elizabeth hugging a guy a little over 6 feet tall. I step off of the final step her attention turns to me.

"Hello, sweetie. This is Will. He's Nash's and Hayes's older brother," she explains still holding him in a side hug.

"Hi," I smile and wave slightly.

"Hi," he smiles back.

"I need to go check on the turkey. I'll be right back," Elizabeth explains before exiting to the kitchen.

We walk to the living room creating small talk to get to know each other better. He is actually really nice. We talk until we hear someone yell Will's name. We both turn in the direction it came from to see both Hayes and Nash running over before they embrace Will into a hug.

"We missed you so much," Hayes smiles releasing his grip while Nash nods in agreement. Suddenly, the door bell rings breaking up their little bromance. I go to the door swinging it open to see Cater, Cam, Aaron, and Matt along with all of their families.

"Hello," the all say in unison.

"Hey," I smile back moving aside so that they can enter. All the parents go into the kitchen to help prepare the food while the rest of us went into the living room. I plop down next to Hayes just as the door bell rings again.

"I'll get it," he smiles kissing my forehead before standing up and walking out. After about 3 minutes, he walks back in followed by Shawn, Serena, Taylor, and Kaylie. We all sit around talking until everyone is here then we all gather around the table.

"So, how far along are you," Cam's mom asks turning to face me.

"Um, about 8 1/2 months," I half smile awkwardly.

"That's great," she exclaims, and I just nod. The rest of the meal consisted of talking about Magcon and the babies which made me feel slightly awkward. It's not that I'm not excited about them, but I've never liked having attention from people. It always made me nervous. But luckily the dinner soon ended, and everyone left allowing me to change into comfy clothes and snuggle with Hayes for the rest of the day.

Oh my gosh, I'm so happy! I finally got my mother to buy me 5sos tickets! I finally get to watch my boyfriends and future husbands preform!😂 Anyway, I'm going to do a question of the chapter.
